1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / yoga ball sling? on: February 10, 2010 08:02:29 AM
Carrying my yoga ball around is getting quite cumbersome! I want to make some sort of sling/carrier to carry my huge yoga ball. I haven't been able to find any ideas online-I am thinking of something knitted or netting of some sort? Then this morning I was thinking maybe reconstructing a t-shirt?
Does anyone else have any ideas? Please share!

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Teacup Pincushion on: January 13, 2010 01:04:44 PM
So this is my first project posted on craftster!
I decided to be crafty today...and this is what I made.
Got a teacup and saucer at Goodwill yesterday for $.99 and used scrap fabric I had from a quilt and fiberfill from my sock monkeys. Also put a little bit of steel wool in with the fill.
Used a running stitch and my hot glue gun and presto. I am really pleased with it and it looks really cute in my craft room which is green.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: The first thing I ever knitted on: January 13, 2010 04:59:32 AM
Welcome to the world of knitting! I like the coffee cuff idea.
My first knitting project was using all the scraps of my moms knitting bag to make a scarf. Check with friends and take all the little pieces you get and experiment different stitches and sizes. Good job on your first project! Nice even stiches Smiley
6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hi There! on: January 12, 2010 04:48:23 AM
Hi All-
I am Callie. I am a crafter from Maine (woop woop). Lots of snow and a part time job lead me to have lots of time to craft. I enjoy knitting, quilting, crafting and sewing. My favorite right now are sock monsters and ugly dolls. Every baby in the family gets one! I am excited to be a part of craftster. I have gotten lots of great ideas for future projects and hopefully I can give someone an idea as well Grin
