8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / weird cape/poncho thingy on: January 15, 2005 12:16:54 PM
I was trying to make a poncho with the jo-ann fabric yarn called "spectrum", It's really thick +chubby so I made a long triangle then folded it like an asymmetrical poncho.(because I bought 6 skiens and It still wasnt enough for the regular poncho pattern) so I seamed like 6 in. by one corner, and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I MADE. its not quite a cape and not quite a poncho. when I turn the slit to the side it looks like a poncho from the front, but at the side, I the slit is from the bottom of my shoulder all the way down to the end. and when I turn the slit to the front, it looks like i have  wings or weird little pointy edge and you can see the stich strech from the seam. does anyone know what this is or how to improve it? thanks *sry I dont Have a pic Im computer ill-literate*     Huh Sad
