Nice.  =)

I like how they look hanging off of the books on the shelf.

@ Baby Cakes:  Very pretty!  I love the shade of red that you choose. Smiley

Ugh,  I went to my parent's house to collect the pretty blue, green and brown yarn that I had lying around in the craftroom to use on this blanket.  Come to find out, my little sister decided to use it on a project for her boyfriend! Kinda cool that she's in high school and crocheting stuff, but at the same time, I had plans for that yarn. LoL.

So, going shopping for yarn this weekend.  Any suggestions on large quantities of yarn (that feel soft) for cheap prices?

I started a granny rectangle afghan and I hope to finish it this month.  I have little patience for big projects being an instant gratification gal.  I hope I can stick to it.

Hope to see a pic of your work soon...I have started two for October, too.  One is totally scrappy and the other is in 4 colors.  What colors are you using?

Digit4lPyro...I've done my squares over the last couple of months and these 240 are ready to be put together...FiNaLLy!!   Cool

Oooooooh, sorry I was a bit confused.  Yay!  Can't wait to see the finished product.  Smiley

Btw, I love your tiger model.  So cute.

Here is my first mission for October:
240 squares of a granny blankie...sounds like very little compared to some of the massive projects taken on by some in our group!! =]

LoL, sounds like a lot to me.  That's like 7 squares a day.

How big are they?

I'm in!  I'm going to use my scraps up in this pattern:

Boyfriend's Christmas present: check.  Cheesy

Also, I found some patterns for various granny squares.  Pretty and free.

8" squares

7" squares

6" squares

That's awesome!  I would never think of sculpting with crochet yarn. =)

The first one is beautiful!!  I love the colors you picked out for it.

The second one is pretty too, just more simple than the first one.
