1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help modifying dress on: February 09, 2010 11:34:46 AM
Ok I have gone back and forth on what to do with my dress. I think I am going to stick to my original idea of making the convertible/infinity dress using the striped skirt tute that I found on this site as the skirt portion. Like they say always go with your first instinct.

Hi guys i started making this dress for my dance ministry at church we are celebrating our 6th anniversary soon. I am stuck. I originally made a tube top but now thinking i need to adds sleeves. should I forego the tube top all together or does anyone have ideas on how to add sleeves? If i go with the tube top i want to make a shrug or bolero to go over it. Problem with sleeveless is the girls range in age from 7 to 12 is strapless appropiate?(more than likely they will wear leotards underneath). Any help is greatly appreciated!

here is a link to a photo of the dress. could not post here for some reason.
