I wonder what he's saying on the T-shirt.

'Tis cool!  I love that it's attention-grabbing from the front and the back.

15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Darts??? on: August 04, 2006 12:43:34 AM
I've never made anything with darts so I am completely lost on the subject.  Normally if I don't know what to do while sewing I'll just wing it, but I keep hearing that darts are quite difficult and I don't think that would be very safe.  So I was wondering how everybody else does them... Huh

17  Arizona / Arizona: Central / Looking for a fabric store on: July 15, 2006 04:29:23 PM
My friend and I are looking for a fabric store in Phoenix or anywhere else in the West valley that sells something other than craft fabric like the type at JoAnn's.  (Taffetta, satin, other types of fabric for clothing design)  We are planning to go to Los Angeles as a last resort, so we are pretty hell-bent on finding one in town!  Does anybody know of a good place with a wide variety of fabrics? Smiley
18  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / ...what if I glaze it? on: June 08, 2006 09:04:58 PM
I have an idea for a present for a friend.  I can't elaborate just in case she sees this post, but basically I need something that's waterproof.  Smiley  It's not going to be submerged all hours of the day or anything, it just needs to be "wipe-offable" if it gets dirty.

Anyway, I think glazing it would fine, right?  I don't know what type of glaze works best with polymer clay, and which brands will be better at accepting it...I hope somebody who's had more experience can help me.  Huh

What's 'consign' mean???

There's a place called "Consignment" near where I live, so I'd assume it's what you're looking for.  It's in Peoria, though, on the NW corner of 75th Ave and Cactus.
20  California / California: South / wholesale beads/jewelry supplies? on: April 04, 2006 08:41:04 PM
Does anybody know of any wholesale warehouses that carry jewelry-making supplies, particularly in the Los Angeles area???
