31  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: preserving leaves in polymer clay? on: December 06, 2012 07:51:33 PM
I know there is alot of moisture in leaves so it might not work too well unless you hang it to dry first, kinda like you do flowers. Im thinking that if you hang it to dry, then coat it in liquid clay it would kind soak into the leaf making it almost rubbery. If it all soaks in, you might want a second layer of liquid clay just to protect it more but I think this would work well.

I've never heard of junker jane before now, but i love this style. Ive actually made a couple things a while ago with a similar style, it's nice to see this kind of style spread more. These are really cute too, I'd love ornaments like these.

I really like it...how big did your cane turn out in the end? I've been playing around with the pixel canes as well since there are SO many awesome pixel images to choose from/create.

My friends dad made his own baileys Irish cream and it turned out really good...i though it was better than the stuff you buy (though most homemade things are). Your recipes  look like such a good gift for christmas, Im sure you sister will like it more than the stuff she buys.

i love the way you changed this...i never has those kinds of dolls in my house when i was growing up though. I think it would look great if you could add some kind of handle to the lamp shade going to the girls hand making it look like one of those fancy umbrellas everyone used to walk around with. that way it would look more included rather than hovering above her.
