1  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 46 ENTRIES / Inaugural Gingerbread House! on: January 01, 2010 09:42:15 PM

Hi there,
After many long hours slaving away at our "Ginge" we finally finished our very first GINGERBREAD HOUSE!! We hope you enjoy our "Ginge", It was a lot of fun to make Cheesy

The Inaugural Gingerbread Team

These are the trees we put in the garden. They are edible stained-glass trees using boiled sweets. Just like the windows!

Here we decorated the sides with christmas lights hanging from the windowsills. We decorated the roof with roof tiles made from licorice allsorts which we dissected.  Cheesy

This is the vege/fruit garden. Complete with dead produce! Cheesy

We decorated the back with a logpile and a basketball hoop. The fence is a safety precaution for young gingerbread children to keep them safe from the wolves and witches.

Thanks for looking!!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My Ball Dress :D on: December 02, 2009 10:01:11 PM
Just wanted to share pictures of a ball dress I made Cheesy I used a pattern to make it..I'm not as good as many of you are out there but I'm quite proud of it  Cool

The pattern envelope - I went with look A

One of the satin flowers which go across the band..thing
I used the dress fabric and a contrasting bluey-green fabric for them

This is the mock-up..made up of an old thin bedsheet

The final product! The dress is made from dark green satin(i think it's satin anyway) which was only $9 a metre Cheesy

Thanks for looking Grin
