1  Robot+Guitar Pick+Toggle Clasp+Sparkly Beads=Awesome Bracelet! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by f1r3w1r3 on: August 29, 2005 05:42:29 PM
Ok, so I found this old guitar pick lying around my desk. And I remember that I used to have a super hot guitar pick bracelet with a toggle clasp, but it got too small, and the plating started coming off, etc. I was like, twelve when my friend bought it for me. (I'm eighteen now and my wrists are fatter!  Grin)

So I had a brainwave to make an equally cool bracelet that would remind me of the one I had before I wore it out. And here it is:

Made with standard beading wire, crimping tubes, a toggle clasp, a few jump rings, and my kickass robot guitar pick!  Cheesy

2  Re: Ziploc Doodad Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by f1r3w1r3 on: August 09, 2005 03:02:24 PM
Grin Yay! I finally got my camera to work, so I thought I'd post pictures of all the cool doodads that paradisecrane sent me!

Everything is so cute, and best of all, can be used in crafting! I've already used my favorite thing, the little embroidery hoop, and I love the duck! It's neon pink and squishy like a stress ball!  Cheesy

Thanks a bundle for all the cool stuff, paradisecrane!

3  A question about stripes... in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by f1r3w1r3 on: April 29, 2005 06:25:39 PM
Okay, I want to make a stripy scarf for my friend's birthday. But my stripes are doing something weird on the other side!

I understand this is probably inevitable, so in order to get all of these "mini stripes" on one side, do I have to do an even number of rows, or odd? I'm not any good at math. I want to make the stripes about an inch wide each, and I'm using number 11 needles. How many rows should I make?
