Ok I know I got this almost 2 months ago but I finally found my cam so I could download all the pics.. This is what I got for the Decades month from Crazy_Jen_BC.
I love 70's hippie type stuff so she made me this great purse with woven hemp strap and tie cord. She also made me a 'sailors' woven bracelt and included a great hippie YingYang iron on patch (it's on my backpack right now)
Thanks again Jen, sorry I was a pokey joe putting up the pics!

14  Re: Funky Yarn Felted Clutch - NOW WITH PATTERN! :-) in Knitting: Completed Projects by Shotgun_Bettie on: October 16, 2005 07:20:51 PM
I finished this about a month and a half ago but just downloaded all the pics off my cam. I used Cascade 220 in Cerise and Bernats Disco-Lash instead of a short boa yarn. The disco-lash is a pain to knit with but it looks AMAZING after.. it's eyelash yarn with little iridiscent bits.. too fun.

This was my first time felting, my first time knitting a buttonhole and my first time using a carrier yarn or any novelty yarn so it was a really great way to learn everything.
I'm making a much bigger one for my friends birthday with black Cascade 220 and black disco-lash (it has pink iridescent bits), and I'm going to line it with a zipper...
Thanks again for sharing the pattern!!

Aww I'm glad you like everything I had a fun time putting the Cocktail Guide together Smiley
Now for the great pics of all the fantastic stuff I got from blueblythe in return. (you're going to be envious just wait)

Gorgeous scented candles and a pretty little candleholder/pottery dish from the store she works at. One of the candles smells like blueberry muffin and the other one might be Rain I think.

Pac-man fridge magnets (the purple one's not in the picture because he's currently holding my tickets to Pearl Jam) and the coolest Robot skrinky dink garlad ever.

Swanky bartype dishtowels

Check this out.. I LOVE these.. hand embroidered pot holders, I've already got 2 compliments on them (you should sell these Blueblythe they'd totally sell)

And last but most deffinatly not least.. the awesome 80's pictures she painted me. They're going up in my crafty room right next to my pirate skull painting from dixieterror. These are simple and really really well done Smiley THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

What a great swap month..

Ok all the wonderful stuff I got from hawaiilove!!

First, I got a great houndstooth belt with green buckle belt (this looks great over long tshirts I found out today) and a cute very girlie wrist cuff. A wrist cuff was on my wish list of stuff I wanted and this ones soooo cute!. It's got polka dot material on the inside and a neat lace edging.

Second, this awesome rockabilly photo album which I plan on using for all my Vegas pictures from January. Smiley I'm so loving the lizard with the polka dots.

Next and last, hawaiilove slaved her butt off to make me this kick @ss rockabettie Purse/Tin complete with 2 pinup girls and cheetah print.
Like my husband said 'Wow that's hawt!'

And all together my awesome loot with pretty card (I think another awesome craftster made the card for her in a swap, it's so pretty!)

Anyways, thanks so damn much hawaiilove, I'm really liking all the stuff you made me, and the purse is currently my travel makeup kit Smiley (because it's a tin none of my stuff gets squashed it rawks)
And thanks for organizing this swap!

I got mine!!!!!!!!! Shotgun_Bettie rocks!! thank you so much, I love EVERYTHING! I'm so happy with this swap. I got extremely spoiled by my partner and now I'm getting the swap jitters about what I sent. Here's pics of all the lovely stuff:

AND...a eye mask (I've been wanting one), a little pouch out of the cutest fabric I've been admiring, a kool aid dye kit, a mixed cd and a bunch of free knitting patterns.

shotgun_Bettie, you seriously went above and beyond and I really appreciate everything. You made my week Grin.

Aww I'm glad you like everything! And your daughter does too.. I like trying to throw something in for the kids, makes them happy to get mail too. Smiley
And I was a little worried about sending the koolaid, glad it got there ok, apprently the borders get bitchy about 'food stuffs'.
I'm so happy you love it all! I'm all EEEEkk! (in the good way)
Can't wait to head home from work here and see if I got mine Smiley
