Modeled by this lovely water bottle.

DEXTER!! This is a t-shirt...a t-shirt I will wear often.

Beautiful necklace. Love, love, loooove this. I was in desperate need of a necklace and i couldn't have asked for a nicer one.

EEEEEEEEEP!! A laptop bag! And just in time! I will be going on vacation soon and definitely needed something to haul around my laptop in. This is not just a laptop bag...this is a LUXURY laptop bag!!

Inside view. Note the 2 pockets and i'm not sure if you can see this...but there is about an inch of cushion. CUSHION, people. Surrounding and protecting my precious laptop.

I LOVE it all! Thank you so much rainysunshine! This was a pick me up and a half!

3  Re: Pick me up swap Sendouts Nov.22 CLOSED in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Noobina on: November 01, 2010 05:52:55 PM
We got quite a few trick-or-treaters here, but still no where near what it used to be. It seems to be dying out, which makes me really sad. I want trick-or-treating to still be around when I have children!

In other news I received a lovely postcard from Taraston. It was brought a smile I desperately needed. Thank you very much! Sorry about the crappy quality. I took the pic with my webcam.

I'm in the middle of a research paper that has been creating much stress for me lately. I have a couple small items done. I am waiting on financial aid money to come in so that I can go shopping for a few more supplies. The school is having problems getting the money from the department of education, so i'm starting to get really stressed and worried that I won't even be able to craft the things I have in mind.

A tad bit blurry...but awesome necklace pendants and even a chain! I especially love the one that says RAWR!

A rapunzel scarf!! I had always secretly wanted one of these. I love it. Its very comfy. Smiley

Now on to the extras. I definitely got spoiled. Awesome crafts and awesome extras.  Grin

My little brothers already scooped these up from me. haha

This little excavation kit is super neat! I dug up the bones, just need to put them together.

7  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery, Second Half 2009 in The Swap Gallery by Noobina on: December 16, 2009 08:47:55 PM
IdlersDesign and I did a mini-swap of sorts. Neither of us had very big items to offer. It was still quite awesome. This was my first time doing a swap, be it personal or organized, but I am definitely going to participate in more!

She had posted up pictures of these awesome moss pendants saying she would be willing to swap them and I just had to jump on the opportunity. It is really neat!

She also sent a couple of extra little goodies. This little zipper pouch is very cool. I have never actually seen one this shape...but I love it! Note the two little ants on that side. Cute!

When I saw this little stamp I just about died. I love love LOVE it! It has also inspired me to give stamp carving a shot.

Thanks so much to IdlersDesign!!

8  Baby Blanket, Tiny Owls and a Cowl in Knitting: Completed Projects by Noobina on: December 04, 2009 09:00:11 PM
I learned how to knit a few months ago and have finally finished my first big project, a baby blanket for my friend...well...for her baby. I completed a couple of smaller projects before finishing up the blanket, but I didn't want to upload any pictures until I was done. So here they are.

Since i'm a complete noob, I did this the hard way. Garter stitched a bunch of squares, crocheted them together and the crocheted a border around the whole thing. I think there is probably a better method.  Undecided I think it turned out okay. It's nothing fancy.

In my first break from the blanket I decided to use some scrap yarn and try out a little owl pattern. Sorry for the blurry picture, I just couldn't get a good shot of these guys.

I'm taking a trip to Washington state for Christmas and I always find my neck to be really chilly so I decided to knit myself a cowl. I found a really nice pattern on ravelry and voila. I goofed in a couple places, but this was really fun to make. It was my first time knitting in the round and magic loop knitting.

I'm really having fun with this hobby and with this site as well. Thanks for looking!
