1  Throne of Thrones in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by thefett on: July 03, 2014 07:29:51 PM
Got inspired from an instructables Iron Throne and decide I needed my own Game of Thrones decoration. It's a mix of dollar store plastic swords and some wood trim made pointy. Goes great with my Jon Snow costume: http://rob.emery.net/costumes/costumes.htm

Yay, I received from sarahelise! Check out all the awesome goodies she's made for me - she was nice enough to go all scifi too. First up is a set of very cool cross-stitched Star Trek insignia magnets (command, engineering, science & medical) from the latest movie (now adorning my fridge).

Next up is a crocheted Alien Facehugger. It's got poseable arms/tail so you can make it crawl over stuff or hang from chandeliers / shower rods. Perfect for when guests come over! I know this will be part of a future costume too!

And finally, the monster prize - a Jedi Robe. It's seriously huge, I love it - I got lost inside once. I just tucked the sleeves a little so it's easier to draw the saber. It totally completes the rest of my costume and looks awesome! Great colour choice too. Thanks so much for these sweet goodies!!

Cool Tshirt. I must remember to make one of those trashcans sometime.

Cybermat has a new home (I added velcro so it can travel with the Cybergun or you can stick it on people with sweaters... mwuhahah):

I received from Padfoot today. Check out all the goodies:

First up, for my Red Dwarf fix, a lovely handtowel. Sweet!

Next up, from Dr. Who, my very own kissogram, ahmm, I mean Amy Pond in police uniform!

Next up, also from Dr. Who - one of my favorites in the collection - an adorable little Cybermat!!

Next up, some Dr. Who and Monty Python themed drink cozies. A tardis and the Sir Galahad shield!

Finally, the piece de resistance, my very own Holy Hand Grenade. Mwuhahha. Evil bunnies beware!!

Awesome job on all the gear Padfoot - thanks!!

Late posting, but here goes...
xxxbattyxxx was an Alpha (Dollhouse) fan and needed some potholders so I took a stab at embroidering some with an evil pic and a funny quote:

In the same theme, I figured a hotplate would be handy, so I made one to look like the Dollhouse sleeping chambers. The bench in the middle can be there when you use it as a centerpiece, or removed to use it as a potholder:

She was also a Firefly fan so I made a Moses Brothers Self-Defense Engine Frontier Model B (Mal's gun) in case any reavers smell what she's cooking and come a knockin'. The bonus was a movie poster.

I received from XxXbattyXxX today.
First up is an Inara inspired jewelry set for my gf. It looks great so I'm sure she'll love it!

Next up is a fun T-shirt with a fave quote. : )

And finally, an awesome collection of not just a few but a full set of plates and bowls. Unfortunately one bowl broke in transit. I have done a few blue sun glasses (which will go great with this set!), so I know this is a tough pattern to etch and you did an awesome job - I love it!

Thanks for a great swap!

Yay - I got my package from zzdia today and got nicely spoiled!
First up are two T-shirts. One with a fave quote and very cool firefly and a second with a sweet River & Serenity logo.

Next up, some very cute keychains - a firefly and a mini-Jayne hat. Kenny wants to wear it to become more bad-ass.

Next a very cool collection of bookmarks. I love them all - great quotes and so cute character designs!

Finally, like I wasn't spoiled enough, some bonus nom noms (how did you know I like mangoes?) and cufflinks! They'll go great with my steampunk outfits or for when I get a Shindig outfit together.

Thanks for an awesome collection ZZ!

9  Re: I Want to Work for an Evil Corp. Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by thefett on: May 12, 2011 10:48:54 PM
Yay - I got back and a package was waiting from GeekySweetheart.
First up, a very cool custom-sized pleasant dreams pillowcase from Torchwood, complete with symbol on the back and weeping angels on the front (I love that design). You can't really see but it's all stitched - great detail (and a good thing because you don't want to take your eyes off of it)!

Next up are business card holders (as an agent of evil, I work for many top corporations). Sirius Cybernetics and Umbrella Corp. Will be fun using these! Thanks for a great swap GS!

I received from Geek today. She picked some of my favorite items and did a great job - I love them all.
First up, a Firefly thingy (bookmark? I don't know but tempted to find a way to attach it to my monitor) with a favorite quote and cute dinos.
Also included was a tape dispenser. Not sure if intended (as stuffing), but if not, well at least now you know where it went.

Next up was this very cool Dr. Who pillowcase. Who doesn't love Angels? That are going to get you. It's extra long for a special pillow and fits great!

Finally, my favorite - my very own Nibblonian TP cozy complete with very cool red cape! I can't wait to feed him the neighbours cats so he can start pooping dark matter to power my spaceship.

Thanks for an awesome collection Geek!
