The icing isn't TLS is it? Is it just regular clay?
Yeah it is just regular clay. I have been playing around with some liquids here the past few weeks but nothing worth posting.

Thanks for the compliments!

Diane B., I have been working with clay for only a few months but I am very familiar with the many techniques. The less glossy look was actually intentional for a more earthy/organic look. I used only two coats of glossy glaze but actually considered not glazing it at all. I love glassacttic.com. I found it a while back and it's so informative! I know they are not professional but with time and effort my work will improve. Thanks for the links and compliment.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: World of Warcraft Necklace for Daughter's Blood Elf on: February 07, 2010 08:29:21 AM
My hubby, daughter (I have two daughters but one doesn't play) and I all play WoW. She is pretty good. We run instances and quests together all the time. Her hunter is only a lvl 30 but hey I don't think that's bad. She hates to quest (mainly because all the reading) but now that you can run randoms she has been lvling super fast hahah. She actually wanted a WoW birthday party. I wasn't able to do it because I coudn't afford it but I did manage a dragon cake lol!!

Thanks for the compliment  Grin

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / World of Warcraft Necklace for Daughter's Blood Elf on: February 07, 2010 08:08:08 AM
My 7 year old daughter wanted to dress as a WoW Blood Elf for Halloween. I wasn't able to make the costume but I was able to make her some custom jewelry. =D

Custom Horde logo with mana and health potions necklace.

I printed the logo, sponged it over with Mod Podge and placed it in Resin. It is backed with hot pink glitter. I also made the mana and the health potions to go on her necklace by using little glass jars, putting food colored water in them.

I also made her polymer clay ears that were attached to her hairbow and pierced with earrings. I made her a bracelet but the pics came out blurry. When I get a new camera I can post. Here is what the graphics looked like that I put into resin for that bracelet.

Final Pic of my daughter's whole costume.
