So I received my package a few days ago, work has just been CRAZY and I've been so exhausted when I get home. I received an awesome package from hayleylujah.

First off, she fulfilled my request for AT themed yarn!!! She dyed some Finn & Marceline yarn!

I love it! Smiley

I also received a Hot Dog Princess scarf. (Can't wait til it gets 'chilly' here so I can wear it!)

And I also got some awesome bath products (Wild Berry Princess lip gloss, Tree Trunks Apple Pie bath salts---don't worry, I won't be eating people's faces off!, and Jake Orange body scrub, which is already in the shower being used)

Thanks again, I just love everything!  Grin

What great packages! I love those quilled magnets, those handmade cards are gorgeous, and the scrabble/domino pendants are so rad! I received from lindyv the other day, and I just loved my jar. I must preface this by informing you all that upon opening this, my 3 1/2 year old son thought he was welcome to the party, so literally EVERY tiny dinosaur, the army guys, and this cute boombox dog toy all got confiscated. Along with him spilling a little container of gold sequins EVERYWHERE. It was such a great way to start my whismy package. Smiley

There was so much stuff that I would have had to take about 30 pics just to highlight everything in groups!

A glass bottle, "glass" slipper, wooden beehive (in love with it!), cow, pink gun, a golden gate bridge (unknown to her that San Fran is one of my all time favorite places!) and a cute painted animal (that I'm going to say is a cross between a giraffe and a wild dog..but oh so cute!)

A cute pink cassette tape cat, ice cream cone liners, cupcake cups, wooden sea shells, an owl eraser/pencil topper, a princess bead & mini plastic tiara, & some sweet lisa frank-ish stamps

A shot of stuff in the "jar" (a wooden oval shaped box) That green thing is a little metal birdhouse, some rad 'crocheted by:' tags, block letters, and various mini pens and cardboard boy.

A sock monkey cross stitch kit and a pompon maker! Cheesy

A little box of buttons (which I have a sick obsession/collection of), a great little needle threader tool (the packaging is awesome), a 1" square canvas, and a rhinestone bee.

Cheesy elements to spell out 'bacon'. They're magnets. I adore them.

A rad mushroom needle book, a little day of the dead skelly, and a felt bacon hoopla!

A shot of some more stuff. I didn't realize the plate was covered (probably one of my favorite items) it's a darling little vintage plate.

And a shot of the lid. This box was painted by Glenda in 2005. Thank you Glenda, for donating your box to a thrift store, so I could receive it. Smiley

Thanks again lindyv!

4  Re: one tiny zombie thing: the gallery!!! in The Swap Gallery by seabound23 on: August 03, 2012 08:28:48 PM
Oh my gosh, a zombie gnome?! That's ridiculously rad! I received from Ceda, yesterday. She stalked me good!

First off, I love getting letters/notes with my package. It's a thing. I've saved every one from every swap I've been in. I think this might be my favorite one I've ever received! Smiley (and that's not even my thing!

The most awesome, amazing felt badge. I love it! The colors are perfect, and her stitching is so clean. Thanks so much, Ceda!

7  Re: Three Tiny TV Things - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by seabound23 on: June 15, 2012 01:55:06 AM
Pics Finally!  Grin Thimbles made me the most awesome package, and I got an extra! I just love everything, and she picked my most favorite shows to craft from, so job well done!

First up, an Arrested Development key chain featuring Buster Bluth! (there are 2 other pics on the ring, it was just hard to get a good one of all 4!)

Next up, a Peppermint Butler coin purse! He's my favorite Adventure Time character and I love him!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Kermit!!!!!!! I am in so much awe of her crochet skills, because I could never make something like this.

And finally a set of 4 (1 not pictured because I immediately took it to work) coasters with the little Chopped cleaver!

Thanks again Thimbles, I just love everything.  Smiley

8  Re: Novelty Fabric Fat Quarter Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by seabound23 on: June 11, 2012 06:38:31 PM

isn't it the bees knees!?!?!

(I so have this tattoo bc of the 'bees knees'...people think I'm nuts.)

I received today, from erica_tattoos!!! Thank you so much, I just love it all! Fun fact, I actually have the DotD fabric you picked especially for me! But I was bummed because I had used it as a gift for someone, and when I went back to buy some for myself, it was all gone.  Sad But now I have some again! ha ha! Thank you thank you thank you.  Grin

Sorry for the crappy webcam pic. I figured it's better than nothing, as my camera battery is charging. fiddlergirl did post pics already, so I figured I would display my specific fabric more prominently. I just love these, and am starting to think up projects for each of them. Smiley

9  Mobius Cowl in Crochet: Completed Projects by seabound23 on: June 08, 2012 04:14:36 PM
So I whipped this baby up in 2 nights (only because I kept taking breaks!) from a pattern in Knit Simple. Working the foundation row was probably the hardest part, but I really like the colorway and I like how large it is, so I can double up or just leave it hang!

Here it is

Doubled Up

Close up of the colors

Close up of the stitch pattern

C&C always welcome!

10  Mittens! in Knitting: Completed Projects by seabound23 on: June 06, 2012 06:42:08 PM
So I made these as a Christmas gift for my bff who lived in Chicago. (and it took me until now to post this!) I thought to myself, she'll need some mitten-y goodness. And they're the first pair I've ever made. So I just followed a pattern from the book One Skein Wonders, and used some Impeccable worsted self striping. I told her they could quite possibly be the ugliest mittens ever, but she loved them! Fortunately (and unfortunately for the mittens) she moved back to Florida, where we just don't where mittens. Ever. But needless to say, I can cross that off my list of things to attempt to knit!

(sorry for the cruddy pic, my camera was down @ the time so I only had the webcam!)
