1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Paper Chain Scarf on: February 26, 2011 07:54:26 PM
Thanks guys for all the positive feedback!  She really seemed to like it, the little fashionista she is.

Made really simply, used a single crochet and wove all the ends in.  Each paper link was made individually, which could be a little frustrating at times, because I would forget to link them together.  So there was a lot of ripping back in this project, but really happy with how it came out.

I got the pattern from Interweave's Accessories magazine that came out last fall.  Lots of great ideas in there!

I made this for my 7 year old niece for Christmas.  My fianc and I are both scaling back on presents this year, but when I saw this pattern in a magazine, I knew I had the perfect present for her.  Hopefully, she will love it.  Do 7 year olds even like scarves?  I'm tempted to make one for myself.  I had a lot of fun making it and it's my first real project apart from learning all my stitches.  Comments are always welcome  Merry Christmas to all!  Cheesy

Such a cute idea, so different from most nativity scenes.  I'll definitely have to find this pattern.  Great job!

Really awesome work!   Grin  I'm super jealous of your awesome idea, maybe someday inspiration will hit me and I'll take off on my very own project.
