2  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Victorian vampire costume made from 99% upcycled items on: November 02, 2009 09:26:04 AM
LOVE the hat and all the black lacy Victorian details. Victorian era vampires are the coolest!!! Squeee!!   ^_^
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: A surfing mermaid... on: November 02, 2009 09:24:40 AM
What a unique and detailed ostume for a young girl! She looks thrilled to be wearing it!! This is the most ingenious idea for a tail that I've ever seen. From the side, it really looks like she's swimming over the waves. My only questio is, once the legs form was stuff and whatnot, was it heavy/ hard for her to walk around with it trailing behind her?

The makeup, seaweed wig, and copious amounts of shells make this costume soooo cool and realistic; she really looks like she came from the shimmering depths of the sea! Awesome job! Shocked

5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Turning men into stone one glance at a time ** Medusa ** on: November 02, 2009 09:19:47 AM
Gahh!! Creepy-cool, I must say! I love the golden makeup... it shows up looking kinda like snake scales/ snakeskin, which looks awesome. I love the detail with the brooches, and the wig is truly scary. Mad props to you!!  Grin
6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Baby's First Halloween as Princess Leia! on: November 02, 2009 09:17:33 AM
She's positively precious! Congrats on your new baby and your last-minute ingenuity. This is a MUCH cooler baby costume than the standard little pumpkin thingy that everyone does!
7  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Zombie Care Bear on: November 02, 2009 09:12:14 AM
AHHHH!! So very creepy and disturbing, and yet sooo cute too! Haha, I love that you made its "icon" thing a brain. Mwahaha, dee-lish! Very, very cool. A fun, adult twist on something snuggly from childhood.   Grin
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Cryogenically Frozen Walt Disney Costume on: November 02, 2009 09:08:05 AM
What do you mean, it's a myth that he's cryogenically frozen! He IS! lol, very original idea. The mouse ears are priceless. I like the detailing with the vintage-looking font on the "freezer". It looks really authentic.  Tongue
9  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Something I loved from my childhood that could never destory us. Mr. Stay Puft. on: November 02, 2009 09:06:39 AM

Haha, this is fabulous! It really looks like you put a lot of work into it! The proportions of the marshmellow-y bits are perfect! And the face! Hahaha, this is definitely my favorite costume on here so far. And as a product of the '80s, just seeing this make me feels oh so happee and nostalgic. Great job!

10  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Lucille Ball in black and white on: November 02, 2009 08:59:31 AM
Haha, I LOVE this! You chose the perfect fabric for the dress, and along with the hair, makeup, and VERY Lucy-like expression, this really looks like watching a black and white TV. I'm very inspired for next year. Awesome job; very creative!
