1  Easy & fast Nintendo DS & DS lite socks with link to pattern! in Knitting: Completed Projects by worthwhilegirl on: January 07, 2007 12:11:05 PM
I was gifted a DS lite for Christmas & decided that it needed a cozy to keep it all shiny & pretty.

I was inspired by this DS lite sock:

So I made my own!

The pattern is available on my blog:

There is a version for DS & for DS lite.

I love this pattern too! I just finished my first one on New Years day.

I'm using knitpicks sock garden in geranium. I'm casting on to the 2nd one tonight.

I've already got plans in the works to knit another pair in koigu KPPPM!

YUM! Grin

I finished one as well!!

I used the leftover Rowan Polar from the lace leaf pullover I knitted up a couple of months ago.

The only thing I changed was that I used size 13's!

I wore this at Thanksgiving & I got tons of compliments!

Here are pics of my finished second pair.

Before felting:

and after:

I used cascade 220 in chocolate and bluebell. I really like the way they turned out!

I love seeing all the finished felties!! Well done people!!  Grin

I made one!!

I'm actually sending it to someone who got flaked out on in the miyazaki swap! Thanks again for the tute! It is is a super easy pattern & I think I actually have enough of the grey yarn I used to make a second one! YAY!

I finished my first pair & am 3/4 finished with my second pair. I just got kinda sidetracked about posting!

Here is my first pair in Cascade 220 bluebell:

Before felting

And after felting:

Here is most of my second pair. I need a couple of more inches before the toe decreases:

I'm using Cascade 220 in chocolate with the leftover bluebell on the heels & at the toes.

Hopefully I will finish them up tonight!

I'm about 3/4 through my first fuzzy foot! Just a couple of inches to the toe decreases!!

I've been using the basic instructions for the circular needle. It's working well for me so far!!

I'm using cascade 220 in bluebell for this pair. I can't believe how fast these knit up. I got all that done in about 2.5 hours last night.

edited to include a picture

Here is my first fuzzy foot!

9  Re: Leaf Pullover- Interweave knits, Loop-d-loop book in Knitalongs by worthwhilegirl on: October 23, 2005 03:06:42 PM
Rumminator yours does look great!! Well done!

Mine is done blocking & after 2 tries & 3 hours of grafting I think it looks great!!

After looking at the picture I see I missed weaving in an end (in the sleeve). Mine was done in Rowan Polar in "Red Hot" and took 5 skeins for the smallest size. It is a completely different fit than in the book but I love it so much more this way!

10  Re: Funky Yarn Felted Clutch - NOW WITH PATTERN! :-) in Knitting: Completed Projects by worthwhilegirl on: October 17, 2005 06:43:30 AM
I finished this about a month and a half ago but just downloaded all the pics off my cam. I used Cascade 220 in Cerise and Bernats Disco-Lash instead of a short boa yarn. The disco-lash is a pain to knit with but it looks AMAZING after.. it's eyelash yarn with little iridiscent bits.. too fun.

This was my first time felting, my first time knitting a buttonhole and my first time using a carrier yarn or any novelty yarn so it was a really great way to learn everything.
I'm making a much bigger one for my friends birthday with black Cascade 220 and black disco-lash (it has pink iridescent bits), and I'm going to line it with a zipper...
Thanks again for sharing the pattern!!

That looks great! What an awesome job! Isn't felting great? It's so forgiving!!
