1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along on: November 20, 2009 11:55:46 AM
I was over at my friend Eliea's house and asked for help making a poppet. And low and behold, Frankie was born. She's a raver poppet, with what could quite possibly be the laziest poppet outfit EVER. Nothing is sewn on the outfit AT ALL. SLACKER FOR THE WIN.

Anyway, here she is in all her wobbly-headed glory:

Why yes, yes her hair IS ridiculously voluminous.
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Captain Jean-Luc Picard - Patrick Stewart afghan on: November 20, 2009 11:47:28 AM
I do believe whoever is receiving this is most likely among the luckiest people on the face of the solar system. Oh man. Unintentional pun. ANYWAY. Sexiest afghan ever.
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sad cloud, happy raindrops: Shrink art necklace on: November 13, 2009 06:52:46 PM
It's super cute! What did you use to seal it?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Gypsy Punk anyone? on: November 13, 2009 06:36:31 PM
So I've begun listening to Gogol as of late and have rediscovered my love of the exotic gypsy lifestyle and clothing. But I can never abandon my first love of punk. The attack plan? SMUSH THEM TOGETHER.

My plan is to make some patchwork skirts, bell-sleeved peasant shirts, and find alot of scarves at the local dollar a pound thrift store.

I also have some possum and deer bones along with rusty keys to make into jewelry.

So what are your guy's thoughts on this crazy venture into the heavily accented unknown?

And is there a good pattern available for peasant shirt and gypsy skirts anywhere?

That is great!

It reminds me a bit of the one from Johnen Vasquez's Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, only that one said "Break glass in case of overwhelming despair."

I totally thought it was a real gun for a minute Smiley
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeeeearrr! :P on: October 08, 2009 02:22:36 PM
Indeed it is the most wonderful time of the year!

I love the tree, it's kind of spooky yet kind of warm and cheerful like a christmas tree. Yes I have weird associations lol.

The bags are cute! What are they filled with?

Cute, shiny, and slightly disturbing.

This is my kind of shrunken head! Lulz.

I love the nose, it looks like a 3D caricature Smiley

Whoa. THAT is freakin sweet.

This is one of the best MLP recons I've ever seen, how did you get the hair to straighten?

Mad props for the eyeball, it has to be my favorite part of the pony <3
