Still nowhere NEAR ready to send! But I'm looking forward to the gallery. Sigh, I have the stuff to try again on the thingy that had Epic Fail, but haven't started on it yet. I got sidetracked and began a small.
I'm seeing an orthopedist about my knee today, wish me luck!

Good luck! Smiley

I decided to take a break from crafting the big item by crafting lots of small items. Which are so enjoyable, I may make lots more! Smiley

Anyone else have the same thing that the things you craft for others turn out to be far superior to the things you make for yourself?

I finally got my sewing machine to play nice, but the medium item I've been working on has turned into a big. It's made with love and lots of cursing Smiley (I believe crafting and cursing go very well together.)

Wow, thingsivemade, hope you feel better soon! And no more sewing machine problems!  Undecided

Yesterday I worked on another section of a large, and continued to work on a medium. Today I plan to go out and get what I need for the other medium.

Thanks indigo_roses, I already feel much better Smiley

I've been having a hell of a time lately. I was sick with what I'm hoping is a 24 hour bug (I'm a contractor so I don't get sick pay, so I force myself into work if I'm able to walk straight). I was seeing trippy colours lol!
My sewing machine scared the bejaysus out of me last night, the bulb got *really* bright and then just went out (this was just after I cleaned it, after breaking 2 needles!). I was terrified that I broke my beloved machine but she still works though so all is well. I just can't tell if it's on or not without the bulb.

Enough ranting from me! Happy belated birthdays, hope everyone else is doing good!

I started a project last night, but I keep making mistakes and having to go back and fix them. I have no idea what's wrong with me. Maybe today will go better.

I know what you mean! Hopefully you'll feel better today Smiley

Argh no, I had a mishap! I was completely right, foam material was a bad idea to sew with. Urgh. Thankfully I have a back up plan, but I spent most of Saturday either in pain or undoing LOADS of stitching. Grr!

It's been an epic battle with one of the items that I'm making for hayleyhandmade. I nearly lost an eye when a needle broke in my sewing machine the other day. I need goggles methinks!
Why did I think that ________ ____ material would be good to use? Well, actually it is, I just didn't think it would be so bloody difficult to sew!

Ah please be careful! Don't blind yourself on my account  Tongue

I'll try! I think it might be safer to sew the rest of this item by hand Cheesy
