3  Re: Isabeau purse (w/ link to free pattern) in Knitting: Completed Projects by niney on: August 30, 2005 01:34:35 PM
Finally I have some pictures, Sorry they were taken with a web cam.. so the quality isn't that great. I love the pattern, I made a small change which is the strap is all done in seed stitch. I made a button out of Fimo, I wanted it to resemble a small rock, I know that sounds strange. I lined it with some stiff linen that I had laying around. My roommate is jealous, so I think I might have to make her one now Smiley

the bottom of the skirt and the flower are crocheted, the body is knitted.

6  Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by niney on: May 08, 2005 08:16:06 AM
My first tattoo is a black star with a skull inside it, i'm trying to find pix of it. it is a homemade job because thats what i wanted. It means satisfaction to me, that i have to be satisfied with what i have and the grass isn't always greener, so i got a homemade one because i knew it wouldn't be near perfect.

this is the one on my back it says "rotten" because i'm a bad apple, rotten to the core.

as you might know this isn't me *hehe* this is my husband's new tattoo i posted it because well. those are my lips. i kissed a peice of paper and we took it and got it inked. i think it's romantic.

close up of my lips..

sorry for the long descriptions.. hehe i love tattoos, and i love seeing the pictures of all of your work. they are so beautiful.

10  Re: Ridiculously easy mary-jane slippers! (with pattern) in Knitting: Completed Projects by niney on: February 02, 2005 07:24:37 PM
i finished them...

i don't know if i am doing something wrong, but my toes are winding up really hole-y....
any solutions?

i had the same problem, i just made sure to pull tight, and i threaded a single length of yarn on a needle and went through and sort of patched them... i just went in circles where the holes were... i can't think of a better way sorry...
