1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / I need ideas/inspiration for an organizer for a backpack. on: November 10, 2010 04:32:58 PM
I have a backpack with a pretty large main compartment, and one front pouch.  It is very front heavy, every time I set it down, it rolls onto the front of the bag.  Here is the bag I have http://www.altrec.com/dakine/point-pack

I need a way to organize the stuff in the main compartment, and hold it against the back of the bag (the part that will be against my back).
The front compartment is crowded with all of the little things I have.  I would like to put some of them in the main compartment (they are what is making it front-heavy), but I don't want them just rolling around in the bottom of the bag.

Here's what I'm thinking:
maybe something that resembles this http://www.amazon.com/SealLine-08684-Urban-Backpack-Organizer/dp/B001HAIWHK
something stiff (plastic canvas?) with fabric covering it.  Different size pockets all over it, with different closures.

I have seen some backpacks with straps that hold everything against the back of the bag like this http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/191-2050523-3585124?asin=B002H00844&AFID=Froogle_df&LNM=|B002H00844&CPNG=&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=B002H00844&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001
They would move the center of gravity towards me more.

Does anybody have any other ideas?.. even better, does anybody have any pictures of good examples/inspiration for a great way to organize a backpack?
