This is amazing.  It's a great metaphor for the machine that our brains really are.
I agree with you, the watch face as an easter egg is especially fun.  This is one of those things that you just have to get up close to so you can find all the little parts.

this could be sooo much better than buying a dress form.  it's guaranteed to be your size!  my roommate may be dragged into cutting me out of this in the future.  Wink

o man.  i know it's been a bit since you posted this, but I just about lost it when I saw these.  I'm having a hard time deciding which is my fave, the dalek or the ood.
really cute idea, i may actually have to send out valentine cards this year now.
5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / fembot costume on: October 03, 2009 09:08:00 PM
first post EVER!

so i found this amazing purple wig and HAD to have it.  my best friend and i decided to be fem bots and i decided fembots didn't have to have big blonde hair, they could have purple bobs.  I made the dresses, we bought the arm bands.  We decided that we wanted to just do mod type dresses.

I didn't use a pattern for the dresses.  They aren't great, the closure at the back of the neck got bunchy, but i finished these about an hour before i wanted to leave for the party i was going to.  I'm still pretty proud since it was the first time i had sewn in years and before that it was only pillows.  so first real outfit!

ignore my ridiculous face.

god i love this wig!!!

it's not halloween unless you've got some witch's brew!
