11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Little Man's Crchet beanie with brim on: July 21, 2010 10:01:19 AM
Hi everybody.
All week long I've been busy making hair stuff for Emily, and fabric journals and have not done anything for my son so I wondered around the forum until I stumbled across the visor beanie post (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=282045.0). Tho post included a link to the pattern, so that is what I made. He absolutely loves it. He's had it on all morning long. Smiley
Here are some pic's of him and his new hat.

I used someVanna's Choice yarn, and the red is Peaches and cream because I ran out of red in worsted weight.  (three different colors), and a size I and J hook.
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Yoko's Barrette (from Gurren Lagann) on: July 19, 2010 09:37:43 PM
I have been watching the Gurren Lagann anime the last few days and I just had to make one of Yoko's barrettes. It is just so cute. I just finished it. I didn't really have the right supplies, but it will do. I used redheart Luster Sheen (Something I've had a long while), black fabric scraps, white and black embroidery floss, and a small piece of white felt.
Check it out:

I know the back of this looks bad, but it works.
Thanks for looking. Smiley
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Fancy Fish Sunglasses Pouch on: July 17, 2010 02:50:48 PM
So I was looking around this morning and seen a latest new project from wyrillco and loved the post/ project (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=354078.0.) that she did. She put a link up for the tut (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=317558.0 ) to make this Sony Reader Cover. Although I wasn't looking for anything that size I decided to give it a go.
I just used some scraps I had left over from God knows when, a sliver of ric-rak, a feather, small piece of felt, about 2 in. of lace, and a velcro fastener with a sticky back. I lightly stuffed the fish with some poly- fil.
It did not take long to make.
Here are the pic's:

Sorry this one is blurry.
Thanks so much for your post wyrillco.
Thanks for looking. Any pointers one can give are welcomed. That includes critics, lol. Smiley
Thanks again. Grin
14  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pink Lemon Limeade Crochet bath set on: July 13, 2010 09:18:34 AM
Hi everyone. Here is a set I threw together last week because I was bored. I used a crochet hook size H and Peaches and Cream- Pink Lemon limeade Yarn. The patterns I used came from random picks on Crochet Pattern Central (http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/bath.php) The picture is of a tissue cover, a wash cloth, a soap holder, and two face clothes. Here is the picture:

I was going to put a little something more on the top of the tissue holder, but I ran out of yarn, and then got lazy.  Tongue I know these patterns are really simple, but it didn't take two hours (with pauses in between to eat because I'm pregnant and food commercials make me hungry) to make. I hope you like, and thanks for looking. Smiley
15  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Cute lil guys... I think on: April 16, 2010 10:50:36 PM
I have never really posted anything on here before, so I'm giving this my best shot. I am also having trouble with the image loader. blah...
So my daughter and I have talked about sewing some stuffies. I got bored last week and made a few. I am by no means a sewing pro, but for the most part I think I did well. ( I also can not embroider well either, but I try) Let me know what you guys think. Any hints on doing this better, suggestions of any type are welcomed. I love brutal honesty most of all, so please don't hold back. Thanks for looking, and have a good one.
