2  Leaf Dress (Lots of Pics) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Cassadee on: June 16, 2010 04:53:59 PM
As quite a few of you know the I <3 Gibbous swap has been in progress for a few months Now that the parcels have been sent, it's time for pictures! YAY!

The piece I made for this swap was for the beautiful Loukr, and it was inspired by the Willow Gown over at Gibbous (or course!) Heres the link to the inspiration if anyone is interested Youll have to scroll down the page a bit!  http://www.gibbousfashions.com/shop.php?inv=10

This dress took me about 2 solid months to complete, I had a few broken needles and a lot of coffee but other than that I had a great time making it! Now Onto the pictures!

Here is a photo taken by Loukr of herself in the dress! If you click on the link it will take you to Imageshack where you can see it a bit bigger and in better quality! Also while you're there take a look at her other photography! She takes wondrous pictures that you would have to see to believe!

Here's a few shots from me, while it was resting on my wonky Duct tape dress form!

These last 3 pictures were also taken by Loukr! She got some really awesome detail shots!  Grin

This swap was so much fun!!! I will be keeping my eye out for a round 2!  Grin

Hope you all like it!

3  Mossy Forest Vest (Lots of Pics) **Moderator Choice 4/13/10** in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Cassadee on: April 13, 2010 06:06:28 PM
Helloooo folks!

This vest took me forever to finish, but I'm finally done! WhooOOOoooo!

It's made from bits and pieces of everything... Sweaters, scarves, shirts, socks, rugs...You name it, it's probably in there somewhere. I added ivy leaves and buttons too!

Pointed hoods are my favorite, so I added one of those too!  Wink

Lots of inspirations for this one... The forest, Gibbous (or course! lol), sunny days, hiking, camping... The list goes on....

Sorry about the guitar case dress form, it's the only model I had available at the time....  Cheesy

The lining looks like it sticks out here, but it doesn't!  Tongue

Here's a picture of the lining

Annnnd a close up of the lining so you can see the pattern

Hope you like it!  Smiley
