2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Found a cool place to trade craft materials online on: March 14, 2007 05:17:10 PM
Ok.  So I found this site called PoshPoints.  Someone showed it to me the other day.  Basically it's like ebay but instead of buying and selling you trade things.  Everything has a point value.  Like if you think your stuff is worth 5 bucks, you put it up for 5 points.  They even give you 15 points to start with so you can get some free stuff.  I noticed that there were a LOT of craft items trading.  Shocked Which made me think of crafster.  I know I have a TON of craft stuff that I'm not interested in any more, but I can't buy more until I get some of it either used up or otherwise out of the house (says my boyfriend!)     Roll Eyes

So I thought I'd share.  I'm not trying to be spammy but I thought you all would like it as much as me.  I got "jar fairies" and colored feathers and jewelry bits with my 15 points.  So I was stoked.

I think this will help with me keeping my new years resolution to avoid shopping at demonic mass merchants when ever possible.  LOL!
Anyways... Here's the link.  Smiley

And yup.  How trashy of me to leave my referal ID on there!  Might as well make more points if anyone else signs up.    Wink
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Digital Museum! on: February 07, 2007 02:53:49 PM
This may sound silly, but I really want to build a digital museum of work done by ordinary people.  Kind of an art of the day type bloggy thing.  Smiley
So I created one today.  Smiley

Is there anyone who would be interested in having some of their art put up there to get me started?

It's going to be at www.artaddictsanonymous.blogspot.com

If you are interested give me a name to call you, a location to say you are from and some details about what you did (materials 'n stuff) when you send a photo of your project to my email

Jamiesueaustin at gmail.com

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's stuff!!

5  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / High heeled combat boots? on: January 09, 2005 06:59:20 PM
I have this kicking pair of Altama combat boots that have been with me for about 6 years.  They still look pretty good but I'd like to revamp them by adding a heel.  Does anyone have an idea how this could be done or should I get myselfto a cobler before I ruin them?  LOL.
