1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: How to Make an Air Plant Chandelier With Supplies You Already Have on: June 22, 2012 08:01:58 AM
I love it.  It really adds so much charm to a window.  After admiring it, my next immediate thought was of my cats...I read your comment about the wire as a strong anti-kitty safety device, but I'm still wondering:  do your kitties bat the thing around into your windows or attempt flying leaps and crash landings onto the globes??  I have some terribly ornery cats generally hell-bent on destructive mischief.  Undecided
2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Super Bright Eye Makeup Look (Products used listed, Lots of pics) on: September 01, 2010 08:54:54 PM
Is there a trick to keeping the areas of color exactly the same size so both eyes match?  If I tried something that complex, I just know that the blocks of color would be different on each eye...
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My Neighbor Totoro Fleece Hoodie from scratch!Pic "big boned"-Mod choice 4/20/10 on: April 20, 2010 09:42:20 AM
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Oh *squeeee* I'm so jealous, I want one, too.  Thanks for sharing your process with us.  And, IMO, you MUST add the soot sprite and little totoros on the back; it will really put the project even more over the top.
4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Stencilled the tree spirits from Princess Mononoke on: September 21, 2009 11:25:20 AM
Thank you so much...yes, I love those little guys, too.  I have tried to draw them before and found the results to be rather...underwhelming.  Thank you for coming to my rescue.  I hope the juvenile who still lurks within my psyche can keep from spray-painting them all over town. Smiley

Right ON, sister!  Wink  It looks fantastic.  Maybe you should do one for the cows next...

I LOVE it; I love everything about it.  I love the soot sprites, I love the awesome professional job you did on the Totoro, I love the color combo.

Mind you I'm a little biased when it comes to Studio Ghibli crafts, but I think this is one of my all time crafster favorites.  Thank you for sharing it; it really made my day. Smiley

9  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: I call these things BUTTS on: September 18, 2009 08:09:37 AM
You are a wicked cool mama...I love all of them.

By the way, the whole cloth diaper thing gets a little easier when the kids get ATLEAST six months old and stop piddling every three minutes.  I've never pulled it off with a young baby.  Our foremothers who lived before the invention of disposable diapers (and washing machines) were amazing human beings!!

I think I gotta hit the THIS ROCKS button on these ...
