1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Re: Share a technique on: May 25, 2007 06:57:19 AM
Looks great!  Where do you get the images from?
2  U.K. AND IRELAND / ENGLAND / Re: Moving to London on: February 05, 2007 05:29:59 AM
I'm moving to London (from New Zealand) in May!  So excited (and terrified).  I have some great friends there already but I'm hoping to meet up with some crafty types too.  Is there a stitch n bitch or something? (that's assuming I can afford yarn - I think finding a job and a place to live will probably be first on the order of business)
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: I <3 Coffee/Tea swap, round 3 on: October 18, 2006 10:23:13 AM
And here they are!

That's what the box looked like!  So big and I loved peeling back the brown paper to reveal what was inside!

And here are the contents!  Everything is great... I love the colours of the notebook, I have already used the facecloth (perfect for going away in the weekend!), the cards are so cute I don't think I can ever use them!  The little tea bag man is adorable.  There's so much tea in there I can't wait to try, and chocolate!!  Although I cracked up at that Kahlua bar - it says "solid milk chocolate" on it, but unfortunately the day I picked up the parcel it was about 28 degrees, so the chocolate wasn't very solid at all!  Hurrah for Spring Smiley

Thanks rockstr009, it's such an incredible package and well worth the wait!
4  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / NEW ZEALAND / Re: Christchurch on: October 16, 2006 11:54:41 PM
Bealey Ave? Man, I don't even know where that is. Are there any buses that go there?
*sigh* It's not easy being 14.

Hehe, it's one of the four main avenues in the city centre!  I live on Bealey Ave!  Haven't seen an op shop though... I thought it was on Cranford St maybe?  Or Fitzgerald Ave?  Some people from work went there, I'll ask.
5  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Summeralong - for craftsters in warm places! on: August 28, 2006 05:56:22 PM
Sydney must be pretty warm already, right?

Send me a pm with your email address and I'll invite you!
6  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Summeralong - for craftsters in warm places! on: August 27, 2006 10:55:42 PM
Here in New Zealand we're about to head into spring.  I created a knitalong especially for people in warmer climes as we are always a minority when it comes to seasons!

Head on over and join up if you like!  And I've said knitting, but why limit it to that?  Anything summery is fine by me - I know I intend to make some dresses if I can!

7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: I <3 Coffee/Tea swap, round 3 on: August 16, 2006 07:27:22 PM
oh dear, the teacup and saucer really are squished!  I hope they come right!  They're my take on the fiesta tea set.
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: August Handspun Swap Gallery on: August 16, 2006 07:25:31 PM
Let me know if you guys do another swap!  I'm a bit of a novice spinner but I'd like to get back into it and I have some gorgeous roving that's not really in my colours.
