221  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Making patterns for perler beads? on: March 09, 2006 05:54:23 PM
I want to make a picture using perler beads (the plastic beads you iron together) and I am not sure how to go about making the pattern. How would ya'll suggest I do it? I want it to be big. Like 12"x12" or there abouts.
222  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / handmade paper masks- better pictures now on: February 24, 2006 09:23:15 PM
I have never posted a picture of project on here before. I hope it works. I finally got off my computer illiterate ass and learned how tonight.  Grin

The ribbon has since been added and the star hangs about 3/4 of the way down the ribbon. What do ya'll think?
223  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / A Thing of BEAUTY on: February 24, 2006 08:51:49 PM

224  Texas / Texas: Southeast / Please help me with craft shows! on: January 29, 2006 09:02:18 AM
Hi ya'll! I live in SA and I want to participate in craft shows. Where do I start? Where do I go? I am also willing to travel. I just get so pissy when people tell me I should sell my stuff at the flea market. What an insult!
225  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Whats your size/challenge? on: January 28, 2006 05:25:31 PM
So, I know everyone on here knows eachother pretty well. There are Call outs for hair color, age, what your avatar means to you, but since we got this lovely new board, lets see who we are, and what we are proud to be. Now that we have this fantastic new board, we will probably be seeing more of eachother than usual. What's your size? What's your challenge?
I'll go first- Size: 20 Challenge: I'm 4'10'' and everyone who makes clothing assumes fat people are the same height, and I always have a butt on my thighs or knees.  Cheesy
226  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Awesome Man The Super Hero on: November 16, 2005 07:45:55 PM
For any of you Eddie Izzard Fans out there you will know just what I'm talking about: I am making a super hero for my husband out of polymer clay. I have made a few and these are a few ideas I already have. He is going to have red and yellow socks and hot dogs as weapons. I'm not sure how the hot dogs will be implemented, but they should be at least one weapon. He needs:

A motto (My last one was "I will stamp out evil with my boots of justice!" and he had huge boots.)
Weapons (My last one had a plunger gun to reel in the bad guys)
Uniform (dunno undies on the outside)
And of course a cool symbol.

I have a few ideas already, but I guess I have been thinking about it too much because the ideas all sound old now. Maybe some fresh new ideas from all you wonderful people will help.  Wink
