11  Muppet Inspired Puppet in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: June 12, 2013 08:01:36 PM
This cutie was made from an old childhood Santa hat. I really love how much personality he has! The feathers move if you wiggle your middle finger which is hilarious!

Psst. Hey, wanna see me dance?

Hubba Hubba!

Too much?

No? Awesome!

Thanks for looking!

12  Muppet Themed Thank You Cards in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by teapotdnky on: June 12, 2013 07:46:07 PM
I made these thank you cards for Nolansmomster for the Jim Henson swap. I used quilt patterns for the pieces and hand painted the details. They all have matching envelopes. I'm really happy with them! Cheesy

Big Thanks!

Thanks for being someone I can Count on!

You're a Superhero!

It's crazy how grateful I am!

This one lists Piggy's good attributes and says You're all that!

You're an Animal!

Thanks from both of us!

Here is The Count in progress

13  Re: Jim Henson Swap round 3 gallery in The Swap Gallery by teapotdnky on: June 11, 2013 01:51:48 PM
I received from Nolansmomster today! Yay!

First off, I open the package and all I see is gray.... Always a good start to a swap package for me! Isn't this the coolest bag? I have actually stopped carrying my computer with me because of the sad state of my Simpson's bag. Now I can take it everywhere! I really love this bag!

Check out my awesome Fozzy portrait. I adore the texture of this! It makes it look like I can reach through and hug his soft fur! It says Wokka Wokka all over. Smiley it's already in my bedroom where I normally keep (kept) my favorite music box.

Also an awesome (and big!) needle felted Slimey!!!! Love love it. Here he is sticking out of my puzzle ball.

Aaaaand some Kermit Pez! Smiley

Thank you Nolansmomster! I love everything. Cheesy

14  Paper Plate Fish in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by teapotdnky on: June 05, 2013 07:34:01 PM
I made this fish for my dad after trying to find paper plate crafts for my mom to do at her school. I used water colors to paint the plates. That was a really fun process! The colors are really intense but I couldn't get a good pic if the color. I think it's pretty cute.

15  Dead Guy Desk Organizer in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: May 20, 2013 09:03:31 PM
I saw a desk organizer on uncommongoods.com like this but it was a million dollars. In addition to being too expensive, it didn't really suit my needs. So I built a little dude, put him on a little sheet of clay and simply started stabbing my favorite tools into him.

Here he his with a few different deaths...

This one is my favorite

16  Eyeball Peephole in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: May 20, 2013 08:56:18 PM
I made this as an homage to my grandpa. When he died there was discussion about what to do with his glass eye. My friend suggested I take it for my front door and it seemed like a brilliant solution. I made the eye out of clay to match his eye. Most of the family thinks its hilarious! Smiley

Here's to you Gramps!

It matched my old door, but I haven't fixed it since I moved.

17  Miniature Sewing Room Hidden Object Puzzle in Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: May 02, 2013 01:36:58 PM
I made this little room out of a cigar box. the inside dimensions are about five by five inches and about six inches tall. The cieling opens up so you can see into the whole room. There are 83 objects hidden in it.

The apple is my favorite! I made it out of polymer clay and I love how real it turned out. Smiley

The little belt around the books was a friend's idea and he totally flipped out when he saw how small I made it.

This is the cieling

I really like the leaf on the floor

Hope you like it!

18  Plastic Canvas Puzzle Ball in Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: April 30, 2013 02:04:43 PM
I saw this pattern in one of my origami books. There was no pattern, just a picture for reference. Of course I didn't try it in paper, I just winged it. It's cute. Smiley

19  Sequined Skull in Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: April 13, 2013 03:31:44 PM
I bought this paper mache skull at Michael's and hot glued sequins onto it, then glued the skull to a candle stick. It took me 23 hours. I used two sizes of sequins because I ended up not having enough to finish it with the large ones but it's awesome anyway. I finished the face in one eight hour sitting while watching an mtv count down and the biography channel.

20  Plastic Canvas Rainbow Filligree in Completed Projects by teapotdnky on: April 08, 2013 12:30:45 PM
This project started off as a distraction meant to only take a few hours... It took about fifteen hours over the course of a week. I cut lengths of plastic canvas one square wide and used a ball of rainbow yarn to stitch all around the edge. I used invisible quilting thread to stitch it all together. Hope you like it!

Measurements are: 18 inches long, 8 inches high and 7 inches wide

A few close ups of parts I like
