1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Amelie Swap Gallery! on: March 03, 2006 06:53:05 PM
i received my package from hubbyoed last nite - she sent me a supercute tote bag with hippolito's quote and vine-y embroidery (did you line the bag and do the embroidery hubbyoed?), a stash of tea, some floral print and tweedy pinstripe fabric and a multimedia amelie cd/dvd that sadly, my computer rejected ( i am going to try it again this evening). thanks so much hubbyoed - please go ahead and post photos when you can, i only have a camera phone and uploading to craftster with that is a total pain in the hoohah).

yay! I'm glad you got it. I made the whole bag from scratch, but the leaf embroidery is a stitch on my machine :X. I sure hope that file works in your computer! I just realized I didn't take pictures, yikes!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Waist issues. on: February 28, 2006 04:20:08 PM
wow! thanks for the help. Cheesy

rostitchery & ksew - the waist band does fit so I'm pretty sure that's not the issue I'm going to do what turtletrbl suggested & make the pleats half an inch deeper & see if that's my problem.
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Waist issues. on: February 25, 2006 10:33:54 PM
Hey there. I'm making a pleated skirt from Simplicity 4963 (a-c). I have reached step where I attach the band to the top of the skirt, but the problem is that the front & back bands sewn together according to the directions only goes about 3/4s of the way around the top of the skirt. I was curious what the potential issues may be here or if I was just overlooking something. So far, the only conclusion I could come to was I did the pleats incorrectly since this is my first time working with them. Any help would be appreciated Cheesy
