Is it grilled or boiled (shrimp cocktail shrimp?) ?
Either way would be good with a little cocktail sauce (or mix horseraddish & catsup) on the side of rice or a green salad.

Get a bag of coleslaw mix make the colslaw rough chop the defrossed shrimp serve ther shrimp over colwslaw.

Also good in the asian salad It is a bag of coleslaw mixed with cooked ramen noodels (google asian coleslaw)

Shrimp is tasty stuff!!

Trekky~ thank you.  =) I have a Black & Decker electric food steamer, rather than a rice cooker. Now That I have it I wish I had gotten the multi level one, but I LOVE it!!
Rice turns out perfect, so do hard boiled eggs.

Tonight we all are getting out of work ealy, Blues Traveler is playing in town. Free concert. http://www.canalconcerts.com/    We are going to have a late lunch. Of chicken salad (grilled chicken shredded & diced, halved green grapes, granny smith apples cubed, a little mayo, a little sour cream, salt & pepper. over salad of lettuce sliced zuccini & baby spinach. With more grapes & strawberries.    Dinner will prob be what ever pork byproducts they are selling at the concert.

Last night was Red Rice (rice cooked in steamer with chili powder and chopped fresh grape tomatoes) & black beans. Had that with soft tacos. (shredded grilled chicken, sliced cucumbers, shrredded zuccini, a little sharp cheddar & salsa. sounds odd but was tasty)  Dessert was jello & fresh peaches.

Tonight we are grilling clams & corn. I made parmasan, garlic butter for corn.
Clams after they come off grill we throw in a big bowl filled with home made breadcrumbs, minced roasted garlic, olive oil & parmasan cheese. Grill calms, as soon as they pop open put in bowl when they are all in there cover bowl with foil & give it a shake. Kind of like instant stuffed clams. TASTY!! 
Dessert is sliced peaches & plums (in fridge now with a little sugar) topped with whipped cream.  =)   GOOD STUFF!!!!

Easy meal!
I love lots of chopped veggies & meat or chicken sald.  Here are a couple of my favs

Deli roast beef or left over roast beef shredded, w horseraddish, shredded carrot, a LITTLE ketcup and diced celery  yumma!!

diced or shredded chicken with grapes, maderine oranges, soy sauce, baby spinach.

shredded carrot & cabage with a tiny bit of mayo and maderin oranges

any left over veggies diced with a little italin dressing & cheese

Last night was grilled corn & hurgers with steamed peas & baby carrots.
Tonight is more corn with beef stew in the crock pot.

I forgot about microwave "baked" apples. I still have those alot for breakfast. Pretty cheap. Even if you just add a pat of butter & a packet of sugar, but brown sugar & cinnamon is even better.

Also corn is pretty cheap around here right now, 4 for $1 in stores,(will be cheaper when farmers have it out to the road, in there stands) if you have acress to grill, grill it & cut off cob, freeze, great to add to soupsor chilli of taco mix ins.

Grilled corn & rice with a spoon of salsa could make a decent meal in a pinch.

Last night was left over Indian, Shrimp Biriyani and Samosas, with sliced cucumbers & more green sauce.

Tonight will be steak hot off the grill with marinted grilled potatos & broccoli.
Strawberries for dessert.
