What a very unique and memorable invitation.  Do they follow a wedding theme or did you just want to do something outside of the box?

The little heart on the fortune is a cute touch.

These are lovely.  You could also do hand mirrors and combs (although, combs might melt) and give them as little gifts.  I would love to get something like that.

This is so clever.  I never would have thought of something like that.  Very cute and I love the bright colors.

I'm so excited about this that I'm restraining myself from running out to Dollar Tree right now! Smiley  This will be my first swap, but I have to fulfill my post minimum before I sign up (I've been more a lurker than a poster).  Yay!  Did I mention I'm excited? Cheesy

I bought the same color the other day because as soon as I saw it, I wanted to make an electric guitar necklace.  You're welcome to use that idea, if you want.   Smiley

40  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Tommy Gun Purse for Halloween on: October 01, 2009 07:50:26 PM
Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be a 1920's gangster for Halloween and I wanted to get a toy Tommy gun to carry around, but I'll also need my purse.  I came up with the idea to fashion a purse out of a toy gun, but the logistics are a little shaky.  Then genius struck and I thought why not make a Tommy gun shaped purse.  However, I have no experience in purse making, nor am I too handy on a sewing machine.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can accomplish this project?

Thanks in advance!
