Hello everyone! It's been a really LONG time since I did a swap but this one just speaks to me. I'll work on my questionaire tonight.

Thanks gala_apples for organizing! You rock!! 🌈
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: WWP 43 - All Around the Maypole - Beltane Gallery on: May 06, 2013 08:59:20 AM
Everything looks so wonderful this swap (as usual, I must say!) I miss swapping with this group so much. Money is just too tight to pay the postage. The materials are never a problem - I have a craft store in my house! Thank you all for sharing so we can all enjoy the love. Smiley

Beautiful packages everyone! I miss swapping with all of you and I hope to get back into it later this year. Smiley
5  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Completed Projects / Re: Thrift store sweater + Wilton dyes = bargain handpainted string.... on: April 01, 2013 10:08:19 AM
This is beautiful! I have known people who deconstructed sweaters to make "new" yarn but I never considered redye-ing it! And I love that you used food based dyes. I have a lot of food coloring that I want to play with. I read that they can be used successfully on wool or silk so I have held onto some uncolored fabrics. Thanks for posting!

Hello everyone! I just realized that it has been over a year since I was able to swap with the group. I have missed it and all of you! I am enjoying watching the commentary and am looking forward to the gallery. Thank you for letting me "stalk" you.... teehee

email my admissions adviser for my college that I'm not going to anymore (Thank you better more awesome art school for accepting me!)
Whoa! What happened?!? Fullmoon, Which school will you be going to?

Wulf, That is amazing about the book. It must a really significant thing that you must read carefully. I am in favor of the 2 smalls for Litha and hope I can clear my schedule a little to be able participate. If I can get a part-time helper for my mom for supper time, life will be a lot easier! Smiley

I'm happy to see everyone's excitement about the upcoming holiday and crafting for partners! All the shared ideas have been fantastic.

I've been overwhelmed by life and am sorry I can't swap any more for a while. I really miss the creation process for a partner and it makes me feel like I've let someone down by not participating in this one but I knew I couldn't send on time so how fair would that be? Thanks for letting me lurk in the shadows. Smiley
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: One Tiny WWP Imbolc Thing Gallery (sendout jan 28/2011) on: March 06, 2011 07:17:12 AM
Thanks for posting that for me!
I'm really really really happy. Thank you soooo much.

Happy was the result I was going for. Grin  I wish someone could have sent a box of goodies to me when I was your age but then I was really into medieval reenactment then (even more than now) and it would have taken YARDS of certain types of fabrics or trims to make me really really happy Wink

Here are a couple of quick pics of the package I sent to Fullmoon. She is having some logistical issues with taking photos right now.

This is a cuff bracelet made of fabric that reminded me of seeds sprouting (it takes me back to my first year of college in Biology).

And the spoilage... the background is a few yards of fabric I had lying around, a spell book, a kitchen knife/atheme, a rainbow braided bracelet, and lots of stashy stuff for crafting and sewing.

Ali told me that she wants to study fashion design and I have a design studio at home so I couldn't help myself. Grin
