1  Moon River Socks in Knitting: Completed Projects by zzjulia on: March 15, 2008 01:30:19 PM
I'm trying to knit one pair of socks per month.  So far, I'm on track and here is my most recent pair--The Moon River Socks.  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/moon-river-socks  Had a hard time taking a good photo of the lovely cable.

The Hazel Knits artisan sock yarn is really wonderful.

3  Hello Yarn's Cable Twist Socks - w/Grumperina mods in Knitting: Completed Projects by zzjulia on: September 04, 2007 08:00:26 PM
Bought the yarn at Stitches West in the spring, finally finished this pair.  Loved the pattern, loved the yarn--Shelridge Farms.  Sorry this pic is ginormous, can't figure out how to size it here.

finally finished!  Going to block them this weekend and take photos.  The pattern is wonderful but the lesson learned was that the STR was wayyy to busy for it.  I would like to knit these again in a solid so I bought some Cherry Tree Hill  Grin

I'm using Socks that Rock lightweight and am halfway through the 2nd repeat.  It's coming out nicely now that I've figured rows 4 and 5.

i also added some length to the sleeves so that i could make thumbholes on the seams.

i love it.

This is brilliant!  It looks wonderful on you.  I just picked up my pattern and yarn last week...a little late to the KAL.

I kept losing count of the rows, but hey, it's a scarf and I'm pleased with the final fluffiness of it:

Love that Silk Garden...what a luxurious looking clapotis!

I went with the skinny look, and it is sufficiently long enough after 13 repeats.

10  Re: Fluffy Lace Camisole from Weekend Knitting in Knitalongs by zzjulia on: March 04, 2005 11:07:54 AM
I remember thinking the yardage being enough for both the cami and the cowl.  In any event, I decided to just do the cowl first because if the dyelot isn't the same and I need to buy more for the cami, it would be better to have all the same dyelot for the cami and it won't be too noticeable if the cowl is slightly off from the cami.  Actually considering you have to wear a tank under the cami anyway, it wouldn't probably be noticeable at all if the dyelots changed mid cami.

yarn photo since I have not started any actual knitting yet  Grin
