This is very pretty! How long did it take you to do this, and did you use a pattern for it?

Thanks, will check this out the next time I'm in the area, anyone have a name? I'm having a look on Google Maps Streetview to see if I can find it!
Edit: Fabric Bazaar maybe?
25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: HEXAGON COAT-MY 1ST EVER HAND KNITTED PROJECT (I Spun & Dyed the Fibers too)!!! on: September 23, 2009 01:19:23 AM
Wow, so bright!! The first one made me think of the Beatles, and  I agree with QuiltersBlock, that second one to me screams Joseph!
Where do people find spinning wheels? This could be a future purchase for me (however, I might have to hide it from everyone I know, they'll probably think I've taken it all a step too far...!)

I am in insanely jealous of that sheep, I get quite frustrated doing French knots, so well done you! The bird design is beautiful too.

I totally agree with everyone else, this is great work, especially for your first go!! My first goes were all on scrappy old fabric that were only fit for the trash once I'd had my wicked way with them. Looking forward to seeing your future works!

Hello fellow Craftsters. I'm new to Craftster and I have a query for my fellow West Coasters.

I have recently taken up embroidery and have been using stranded cotton / floss. I had purchased some Perle cotton from Hobbycraft at the Fort but I don't get there very often because I don't drive. I've been trying other Glasgow stores for Perle cotton but with no luck (I've tried Mandors, John Lewis, Forge Market some other crafty stores in Lanarkshire), does anyone where else I'd be able to purchase?

I've had a look online, and some online stores do have fairly good deals but I'd prefer to see the cotton in person so I can choose my colours if possible!

While I'm here, are there any crafty shops in Glasgow outwith the kinda big stores I've mentioned that are worth checking out? I'm into most crafts!

ooh! This would be a great Christmas present for my husband!

I have a friend that would adore this too, cheap and cheerful Christmas present that shouldn't take too long to stitch up.
Thanks for the pattern AprilDraven!

Hey, it's the thought that (should) count, right? I think it's adorable. Some people just dont appreciate hand made crafts, grr!!
