1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Baby hat pattern search help on: July 08, 2013 04:29:15 PM
So I've just finished a baby blanket for my baby cousin who will be joining us in the world in the winter! I have enough yarn left over to make a baby hat, but I just can't seem to find one that is a V-stitch too! Please, if y'all can help me find a baby hat pattern that is a V-stitch it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

~Maggie K.

Oh, and here's the baby blanket I made:
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / UT Longhorn Hat! on: October 27, 2010 02:58:08 PM
For a long time I had been looking franticly for a Longhorn hat for my Grandfather-in-law who sadly is sick. Finally, because of zero luck on finding such a pattern, I had to improvise. I used a hat pattern done by Jilliane Madene, the Viking Pride Hat, just the horns, and the hat pattern Anarchy Irony Hat by Debbie Stoller. And here is my result!

4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Boney Addvice on: September 05, 2010 06:47:53 AM
Hi I've just found this wicked awesome skull and back bones and I was wondering if anyone could identifiy them for me.
I'd like to make a neckless out of the teeth. Nothing creepy, just like a charm out of one tooth. Or maybe a backbone. What do y'all think?

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Cowgirl Jeans IMG HEAVY! on: August 27, 2010 07:07:00 AM
Hi, I'm Maggie and this is my first needlepoint post.I've had these jeans for about 4 months before I decided I was going to awsomefie them. It took a few weeks to finish them; I was in the middle of studying for an exam when I started. I love them! They are my Country/Cowgirl jeans. They're my third pair that I've redone...sadly I don't have pictures of the other two since I had to get rid of them about two years back. I do kick myself for not taking pictures of them when I could have.
The items I have on these are:
on the front I've put a gray roadrunner, he's above the blue 13, a yellow rose for the yellow rose of Texas, cactus tree, a dark brown mustang, a chestnut guitar, a white truck, a black cowgirl on a bronco, a gray coyote, a light green lizard, a light brown buck, a white rabbit, and a light brown Texas with a black cowboy hat, a green cactus tree, and a white 13 inside of it.
on the back I've put on a red tractor, a light brown saddle, a chestnut turkey, a dark green cactus tree, a black gun, a chestnut rattlesnake, a dark green cactus tree, a white chicken, a light brown cowboy boot, a pink pig, and a black longhorn.
Then I have various shades of orange stars down the seams on the sides to sew down the seams.
Anyways, I just wanted to share them with my fellow artist. I do hope ya'll enjoy them. Please let me know what ya'll think about them. Tell me your ideas for another pair, what theme would you do? What would you put on them? Speak your mind! I want to know all that ya'll think about them!

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Attempting the Travelocity Roaming Gnome! on: May 27, 2010 10:56:42 AM
Hi! So exciting  Cheesy this is my first craftster's post! Any who! I am a big gnome fan! I mean BIG! A friend from back when got me into gnomes. My fave is definitely the Travelocity Roaming Gnome! LOVE HIM!!! I have his ring tones and user pics on my cell! I've got three mini 3d magnet statutes (they didn't have the small regular statue and still don't *depression*  Cry), two deck of cards, and two 3d pens of him! But thats not enough. I've decided to attempt to create a Travelocity Roaming Gnome Amigurumi!!!! Shocked And whether or not I succeed I would love it if others would join me in a Gnome-nut discussion!
