3  I invented a new stitch! in Crochet: Completed Projects by thelaughingwillow on: January 30, 2010 11:14:55 PM
I want to share this new stitch I came up with! It's never been tested by anyone but lil' ol' me, so if you see problems, just let me know. I hope you like it! It creates a really thick fabric that's pretty much opaque. I call it the trailer stitch.  You can see the difference in the thickness in the swatch in the picture. The top four rows are my trailer double crochet stitch, the bottom four are regular double crochet.

6  Seamless Beaded Cancer Cap in Crochet: Completed Projects by thelaughingwillow on: January 17, 2010 05:08:14 PM
I've been making a TON of hats for Knots of Love lately, and really wanted to spruce up an ordinary seamless cap.  You can only adorn them with fur yarn so many times.  LOL!  Anyway, I've just started getting into beaded crochet...so here's what I came up with!  Hope you like it!

Well, I've finally tackled beaded crochet, or in this case, bells.  For a first timer, I think it turned out pretty great!  Check it out!
