41  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / My mom's joy on: May 08, 2010 04:49:00 PM
So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, feel free to move if it's not. Tongue

So my lovely mom is a massage therapist as well as a joyologist. She helps people find their joy, so I thought I would make a little joy for her office.

I got some wooden letters from Joann and decoupaged them with colored tissue paper and a little elmers glue. (I love elmers!!!) hahaha

Then I hot glued ribbon to the back to hang it from.

Nothing too fancy but I had fun and she loved it!

C & C welcomed and appreciated!

Hello all!! So here is the top half of a bikini I'm making. I haven't had a chance to finish the bottom yet but hopefully I will before its bikini season again (which is only a month away here in AZ! Yay!!) Sorry for the weird angle, I was home alone hahaha. The strings look kind of weird because its braided  Tongue

C & C greatly appreciated!!

43  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / octopus have your heart? Giant pics for some reason??? on: February 23, 2010 04:57:30 PM
SO, I'm on here ll the time but never remember to post anything I (attempt) to do. This is my first venture into clay. It was fun but a lot harder to work with then I thought.

This is just a couple pink octopus tentacles holding on to each other.  Smiley After I baked them I covered them with glittery mod podge.

This one I also made a heart and had them hold it. I think it's cute haha. I also covered that one with mod podge.

And lastly a couple resin pendants . One has multi colored beads in it. The other has sand and seashells in it. I love the beach and being in Arizona I have to embrace a fake beach hahaha!

Sorry the pictures suck, my camera is angry and camera phone sucks Tongue

C & C greatly appreciated! And if anyone knows how to make these HUUUUUGE pictures smaller let me know! Thanks!!

44  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / gross t shirt+unflattering gauchos= sweet dress! first post! on: August 10, 2009 12:47:08 AM
First timer here!  Smiley

So after discovering this site on accident today (how did I not know it existed all this time?) I was feeling very inspired and crafty. Everyone is so talented andcreative. Love it!!

Anywho, I made this dress todayfrom an old t shirt that I hate and a pair of gross gauchos that I hate even more. Haha. Sorry no pic of the old pants, but I'm sure you can imagine.

Sorry the pic sucks. I was home alone and we don't have a full length mirror or any decent lighting. I'll post more when I get a chance. Comments/critiques/constructive criticism would be epic!
