41  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Anything Besides Freezer Paper? on: July 02, 2010 07:42:25 PM
What else can I use to make a stencil? Is it possible to use something besides freezer paper?
42  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 52 ENTRIES / From Plain White sheets to an amazing skirt! on: July 01, 2010 08:01:10 PM
So my grandma gave me sheets for the challenge. I ran home excited and I took them out of the bag to find they were plain white sheets. I was going on a tie-dye craze so I took them and did so with the sheets.
I've only got after pictures (I was too excited to think about taking pictures while I was making it)
And now you've waited long enough time to see the skirt!

Oh and the waist was saved off a pair of jeans that were ruined. Stained beyond saving.
43  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / EvPants on: June 21, 2010 01:33:14 PM
I found an old pair of jeans in my clothes and I wanted to add some color to them. Then I realized I own no clothes from my favorite band Evanescence so I grabbed some felt and made these pants.

On the right side it has the Evanescence symbol and it says "Evanescence" and I put a music note key chain I found on it.
On the left side it has a piano and a little swirly thing at the bottom.
44  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / No sew Men's Button down shirt into a skirt (Tute Included) on: June 13, 2010 02:24:35 PM
So I was messing around and I ended up making this skirt by accident.

1)Take the collar and fold it down. The first button should fold down with it

2)Now use the second button to button the top of your skirt

3)Button down the rest of your skirt

4)Now put you sleeves inside the skirt

EDIT: You may also sew the sleeves to make pockets and it'll be an almost no sew project. Thanks for the idea ScotSkipper402!

And there you have it! If anyone is crazy enough to try this please put up pics. And if there's something you don't understand in the tute just ask.
45  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Plushie hearts ^_^ on: June 12, 2010 09:49:47 AM
I saw this here and I had to try it. So these were my first 2.

Then I made a black one (I'm so gothic)

46  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / A New Dress on: June 06, 2010 10:44:55 AM
So I made a new dress out of two shirts. I was going to use a tank top but I found this old shirt and changed my mind.

Please Ignore the slightly cluttered kitchen >.<

50  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / The weirdest skirt ever on: May 02, 2010 05:20:22 PM
So my aunt gave these pants a while ago. She got them at a second hand store and they were the kind that you get at hot topic and places like that. So of course me loving goth clothing was thrilled until I looked at the size.

Um size 0? I think not.

So I made this skirt! (sorry no before pics)
