2  Button and loop closures in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by mae57 on: November 23, 2013 06:17:03 AM
Hello I have a question about what time period was the button and loop closure used on under garments? Like side closures for long line bras, slips. I had a homemade slip once that closed on the side with buttons and fabric loops. The straps in front also has the same type of closure. I don't have a picture of the slip but it was made like a long line bra with a half slip attached . The bra cups were sewn with stitching to make it have body and there was a small pocket in the front. I wonder what that was for. If anyone has any Ideas Please let me know. This picture is just a sample of how the slip was made. bannie_hen@yahoo.com   Thanks   Huh
