3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Super Baby! Play Cape + Tutorial on: April 17, 2010 03:51:15 PM
Way awesome! I love the tute and I love the cape! It is fantastic that you reused a tshirt. I may have to hit the thrift store . I made a few of these from a (complicated!) pattern. Just a side note, I liked adding a bit of velcro to the end of the neck instead of long ties. One it made it easier for little hands to take on and off (they couldn't tie yet) and two I was always afraid someone would get it stuck on something and get strangled. ( I am the way over protective Mom!) Awesome job! BTW, your little superhero is adorable!

Awesome job! Thanks for describing the iron part. I have bought the elastic thread and with your hints and tips I am motivated to give this a try. Your top and daughter are adorable! Nice job.

These are awesome! Thank you so much for posting. I have made several Capri Sun bags, but have never tried one in this style. I would love try something like this. I would not thought of finishing the sides like this. Always looking for new things to make with Capri Suns and Kool Aid!
Nice job!

Love both of them, but that vintage top is awesome! I love that you used an old family pattern. It turned out so great! Thanks for sharing the closeups.
7  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Pretzels! on: March 02, 2010 07:06:17 PM
I made these this afternoon. Yummy! I also used all purpose flour and it was fantastic. My family ate them all and asked that I make more tomorrow. Can't wait to try these again.

I think his looks fantastic! It looks very well made, not messy at all. I would love to make several of these for pins. I think I would wear it with everything. Thank you so much for sharing.

Yummy! What a wonderful idea! I had not thought to save these. I think I need to make some cookies to get some of these to work with. Thank you for sharing this idea.
