1  Has anyone seen these? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by Jorie on: November 29, 2011 04:24:58 PM
Has anyone seen where these awareness ribbon findings can be purchased? I have tried both Fire Mountain and Rio Grande to no avail.

2  Re: Gathered Roots - An Herbalism Swap R2 (Gallery) in The Swap Gallery by Jorie on: April 21, 2010 11:47:50 AM
Here is the package that I recived:

3 honey lip glosses

1 vanilla and lime body balm

a collection of chamomile and lavender soaps

a bottle of lavender essential oil

all inside of a knitted bag

plus a soap mold and M&P soap base

I'm really happy with what I got and hope my partner likes what I sent her.

3  Byzintine chain in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Jorie on: March 06, 2010 10:27:54 AM
I previously made a 4-in-1 with this size ring, but it did not hold up. So I took it apart and made a byzintine chain instead. Since it was not really a reconstuction I figured it best to put the pictures here:

Sorry for the last pic, not sure why could not get a good close up.

C&C always apriciated.

4  my chainmaile (pic heavy) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Jorie on: September 15, 2009 09:26:22 PM
Though I dabble in a few different things. Chainmaille ( and soon hopfully wirework) appears to be what I like the best, mostly because it is portable and something that I can stop and start, which I can't say for candles or lotion. Here is what I have done so far.

orbital chain

camelot chain

What my instructor called the oops chain, though it probably has a more formal name

Chainmaile with bicones

A choker I made with the start of a 4 by 1. This did not last long because shortly after the rings started to slip out of eachother.

Which brings me to my question. Anybody got any ideas on what to do with all these 4mm 20 gauge rings I have lying around? I've started on a byzantine that seems to be working but given the number I have I would love other ideas as well.
