2011  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Star Swap (SIGNUP 12/27/10-1/24/11 ; MAIL BY 2/23/11) on: January 02, 2011 02:57:13 PM
I would really love to join this, can't call myself a star knower but I love them.

I just want to be sure about one thing before I apply, it's about the point system, if I make four 1 point items is that4? I know it's probably a stupid question but better be safe than sorry Tongue

2016  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Apron problem on: December 15, 2010 10:46:16 AM
I'm making an apron for a good friend, and it has to be done today because she's leaving tomorrow. My problem is the fabric that is supposed do hold the apron up, whatever it's called.
I have made it into a braid and sewed it down on one of the sides, and it's not long enough so she can tie it either. I was thinking about adding some elastic band that will hold it there, allowing her to make the loop larger if she needs to, but I'm not sure how big she likes it. I was also thinking about a button, but then I have the same problem with the size.

Does anyone know what I can do?

2019  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Stenciled/sewn/layered R.L. Burnstine hoody! on: December 12, 2010 02:24:37 AM
This is really nice, I love the effect of the text and the musician, this is a shirt you won't really find everywhere. I especially love that the whole thing is so faint, this way people has to come closer to see what it is. And the faint skull effect is a nice touch.
