Nice and it seems that fabric comes in better colors and designs too.
However if I did it you you'd catch me with glitter, puffy paint, and gold and silver markers decorating the fabric if it was not sparkly enough for me. Tongue I love this idea I have extended family members who request that I save all my bows and give to them for re-use well I saved them but I ended up re-using them. Left over paper my kids and I make snowflakes with and put the white sides to the window. I also have a closet full of store boxes and bunches of gift bags because my MotherIL does not like to wrap. I think I might make her some of these.

I saw the dresses and swimsuit coverups in may and started to do a search for dresses and the only crocheted dresses you can find are from the 60's that have an available free pattern. I have been tempted to exaggerate some baby dresses to make it fit me. Its something I keep finding myself looking at but have yet committed to.

My lil Girl and I made some valentines day cards.
A friend gave me some large railroad papers, so I grabbed a cookie cutter that was heart shaped and traced it enough times to make a enough squares for enough valentines for my daughters class and her classes sister class.
I then grabbed a white crayon and wrote little messages in each heart. I gave my lil girl watercolor paints and markers and told her there was secret writing on each one.I helped of course ( too much fun not to Smiley

When we were finished painting. I cut them out and and hole punched them. A pencil does not fit through one whole punch so I had to do two next to each other. I slipped the pencil through the holes and then slid two suckers in behind the pencil. and Wallah. Our valentines Smiley

I was going through my doily patterns with a friend and she mentioned this one would be pretty in blue. I happened to have some yarn I thought would be perfect for it in blue and decided to see.

well I saw the challenge in May and this is what I finished so far. The quilting part was to much for me so it I just made it a large granny square after that.

ooh I would love your pattern for this. I have popping old washcloths into mine and that is far and in between. If I crocheted a whole bunch of these i would have enough to use while the others were in the wash.
I am wondering if I could use some of my old t-shirt yarn to make it.
