1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / christmas presents! (necklace & earrings) on: December 23, 2006 09:50:19 PM
i don't celebrate any holiday except new years, but I still get people presents cuz giving presents is so much fun!
here are some things I made in the past few days.

i have a question about these earrings. Could anyone tell me how I could possibly make it so those chains don't flip onto the other side and always stay on one side. Otherwise theyre a hassle to always fix before putting on and they flip to the other side when worn. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, suggestions?

i just did ladder stitch with bugle beads, its really simple and fast but the end result is awesome!
for the one with the black seed beed rims, i just dida row of brick stitch on each side of the buggle beads ladder
hope that was any help, if you need links to those stitches id be happy to ive them to you

So! It has been quite a while since i've posted here. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to craft lately but here is the stuff I've made since the last time i posted.

earrings for a friend, i hope she likes them

i really love the rainbowyness of this ring

similar to the ring above but with a black seed beed border, this ones for a friend
its a bit dusty, heh

simple long necklace

on me
(sorry for the bra showing, i hope the mod doesn't get mad for overexposing haha :-p)

and one of my fave necklaces that fits with the recent trend, a cluster necklace!

tell me what you guys think! Constructive criticism is welcome

it always takes me so long to make things, im just a slow worker, so only two pairs to show off today.

i donno which ones i like better, though the cluster ones are heavy and make my ear holes stretch, so tell me which ones i should keep and which ones i should give to my friend who's birthday is coming up.

i love those shiny tear drop beads, the pic doesnt give em justice

Ok, I am kind of a beginner too. And I am planning on going to the bead store soon enough to get materials. So could you possibly list those materials that you used? Like what they are all called. I know you used chain and eye pins, but what else?
That would be very helpful.
Thanks  Smiley

The big beads I found actually in a chain on the floor of an urban outfitters. I just tore them off and used them here.

this made me giggle....I wouldn't have admitted to it but I probably would ahve done the same.

actually it was like a broken chain, I don't even think it was for a necklace. In any case it was ripped and lying on the floor and so I don't consider it stealing. Right?
