132  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / nintendo ds case (first pictures posted) on: January 13, 2005 02:12:15 PM
i have made 3 of these so far this one is not my favorite of the 3 but the other 2 were given away without pictures taken first. one was with black courderoy and black satin. the other was with blue couderoy and t-shirt material also i used velcro to fasten that one and it worked alot better than the tie. ill try to get pictures of them but no promises.

if anyone wants a tutorial let me know.

the pockets fit both ds and advance game

yeah i saw the cassette books. they are a good idea. im just scared about the needle thing. i might try just using a hole punch. they wouldnt be as pretty but would still be functional. Smiley

so i'm an afterschool teacher for elementary kids and i said i'd do a class on book making... only i don't really have much experience with book making. sure ive tried my hand at a few times but i honestly can't even remeber how i made the things i made. so i need ideas for some super simple books (this K-5th so it needs to be pretty easy for the little ones).

138  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Nintendo Ds Cozy on: January 01, 2005 11:41:34 AM
i tried to think of a good knitting pattern but decided that if i knit a case that it would be too bulky so i decided to sew one with courderoy as the outer layer and satin as the liner. i dont have much experience with a sewing machine so it was quite the experiment. i will post pictures as soon as i get ahold of a camera.
