21  Re: The Sketchbook Project Craftalong 2010 in Craftalongs by nicoleburdsall on: August 23, 2011 10:03:25 AM
I just realized I never posted the few pictures of when I went in Seattle. I think I was waiting because I have this picture of prettyinpaisley's book and didn't want to post it till she did, but since it's been a while anyway...

CONGRATS, by the way!

These were two of my other favorite pages. One is Noooitaremybirthday's and the other I don't believe is a Craftster's, but I could be wrong. It made me giggle though XD

And here's just a few shots of the books. There were a ton (and even more downstairs). But the amount of people in such a small area was even more impressive. They need a bigger venue next time methinks. The line was out the door.

Anyway, now I can file these away on my computer. Good job everyone, and good luck to those doing it again this year!

I received from Tygermane last night! I love this package SO SO much! It looks like she really put a LOT of work into it. This is gonna be picture heavy, so I'm gonna post some in thumbnails. But everything is so worth clicking on to look at in more detail!

First, a really detailed woodburned box

A super awesome loaded bracelet

Some of my favorite charms

"I've got a jar of diiiiirt!" (So cute ^.^ )

A few extras- bracelet and a lipgloss/sparkle combo

And my VERY FAVORITE OF ALL... A Jack "Sparrow" I love him so much. I have to find an awesome place for him. And his jar of dirt XD

Thank you so much!

Oh wow! I haven't been on in a while. There's some awesome stuff! I love it all! Also, there have been a lot of cherry trees, which I love.
I just wanted to post one more picture of the bag I made for Arryl. I've NEVER made a bag before, and I made up the pattern for this one.

Close up of the bag (I always need more bags. I use mine until they self destruct!)

A great Cherry Tree necklace. It fits perfectly as a choker, which is great!

And a wire Willow Tree, which is probably my favorite kind!

Thank you so much Arryl!

Frosty772 received her cuff from me a few days ago, but apparently her camera is acting up. Technology doesn't always make things easier! So I offered to post pictures for her :] Luckily, we have roughly the same size wrist, so I could take action shots of it. Unfortunately, last minute I decided to lace it up differently (with a thin ribbon) which looked a lot better, but I didn't get any shots of that :[ But anyway, I hope she liked it! She said she liked Victorian style, so this is what I came up with. I was pretty happy with it. I think I may have to make one for myself!

30  Dreamcatcher-opinions needed in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by nicoleburdsall on: April 26, 2011 11:54:18 PM
Alright, before I ask my questions, here's the dream catcher I just made! It's maroon and brown floss wrapped around a hoop with brown floss used as the webbing. It also has purple beads throughout it and the center part has 2 purple, 1 off white and 1 leaf bead. The colors didn't come out spectacular in these pictures, so I though I would clarify in advance.

My questions: Should I add little dangling leaf charms through the webbing or should I hang something from the bottom? Or both or neither? I like it as is, but looking at it I just can't decide if I want to add more to it.

Thanks for looking  Cheesy
