1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Best (Cheapest) Place for Red Heel Socks? on: November 02, 2009 01:05:47 AM
Where does everyone get their red heel socks for sock monkeys?  I just did a google seach and found a few places, but was wanting opionions.  Does anyone sell them brick and mortar stores?

A couple of the web sites had decent sock prices but were crazy on shipping charges!

2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Embedded Toys in Soap for Craft Fair on: July 09, 2009 08:54:06 PM
I'm thinking of making some MP soap with toys for a craft fair.  I have army men and rubber ducks.  Are these good (decent sellers)?  I love the rubber ducks in soap, but don't know if they are just 'cute' and no one would buy them.  I was also considering the fish in a bag soap, 'soapsicles', and soap crayons.  Anyone have any advice about novelty soaps?  Are they sellers or just things people look at and say "what a great idea" before they walk by?
3  UNITED STATES / Kentucky / Craft Shows in Lexington on: June 28, 2009 02:46:32 PM
Does anyone know of any craft shows coming up in Lexington?  I'd love to try one, but don't know of any around.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Sock Monkey Socks on: June 21, 2009 03:50:14 PM
Where does everyone get their socks for sock monkeys? (not just the red heel ones) I really like the argyle and stripped socks, but never really see ones that are long enough for the monkeys.   There are a few specialty sock shops that have them, but they are upwards of $10 per pair.  Ideas?  (Dollar stores here don't have them either)
