1  Re: Back to Hogwarts Gallery in The Swap Gallery by StrawberryJeli on: October 16, 2011 11:32:50 PM
I received from IridescentDoll a couple days ago. She did awesome for her first swap!  Smiley I had chosen Slytherin House, Potions Class, and Ollivander's Wand Shop (or the Leaky Cauldron).

Group shot:

A card with Snape's portrait, bookmark with my favorite quote, ouiji board, autographed Dobby photo, make love not horcruxes T-shirt, wand, potions book, and a Leaky Cauldron shoulder bag.

The wand is actually carved from wood! I will be using it with my costume this Halloween for certain. The Advanced Potions journal has "Property of the Half Blood Prince" written on the inside. I love how she used rhinestones for the bubbles coming out of the cauldron.

My first ouiji board! It has a note from Remus (my other favorite Hogwart's teacher) on the other side.

Thank you, IridescentDoll!

I hate Muggle Post I've checked the DC# everyday since I got it and it still says waiting to be picked up.. URRRRG.. Which cant be true.. I think they are just trying to drive me nuts... Good luck on the Canadian Post..

My post office is terrible about scanning tracking numbers, so don't worry, I'm sure it's on its way!  Here's a little preview to tide you over until it gets there:

BTW IridescentDoll, I got the package you sent me today! You really spoiled me, thank you! I will take photos tomorrow and upload them to the gallery.  Smiley

is the chesire cat hand made or store bought? its super cute
and the alice doll is super well done love it!!

Thanks! The chesire cat is handmade. I drew and colored the image in photoshop, then printed it onto fabric.

The Alice doll probably took the longest to make as I had to make up a pattern as I went. Lots of trial and error. She's also posable!

Anefariousimp sent me an amazing package. Prepare to swoon with envy.

Everything together.

Oh, hello kitty.

After determining nothing was actually edible (despite looking quite yummy), kitty decided she wanted the super cute birdhouse decorated with (faux) icing. I remain suspicious of her motives.

I love everything anefariousimp sent me, but this next item is just incredible! I cannot imagine sculpting that small with so much detail. I also love all the colors. So pretty! ^_^ It is a Marie Antoinette miniature cabinet filled with (many) polymer treats.

A close up of the treats and the magnets.

She also sent me some really cute bunny stationery, a pouch filled with Harajuku style bandaids, a Sentimental Circus themed jar of paper stars, a handmade necklace, and a felt doughnut kit (which I will have fun making).

And finally, a Sentimental Circus shadow box (that will soon be hanging in my room) with hand drawn art and a polymer sculpted elephant.

Thank you, anefariousimp! <3

I received an awesome package from kyerinn! Here is what I got:

A Buttercup journal (which will be used) and embroidery hoop.

Inigo themed cards (my friends will love getting these as they love the Princess Bride as much as I do) and a little bag of stickers.

Thanks kyerinn!

These make cute tree decorations. I think they'd be great for attaching to gifts too.
