1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Hit Girl sculpture on: January 14, 2011 10:58:34 AM
I can see how less packed-down hair would look more like a wig, though for an error, it's really not so bad, it just looks more like her actual hair as opposed to a wig.

It's a nice blend of live and comic Hit Girl. The face is nicely symmetrical and great job on the mouth/teeth.
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Faux Animal Scarves gone wild! IMG HEAVY on: January 14, 2011 10:55:22 AM
These are so much fun!
Living in a place that is very winter-heavy, these would make a nice addition to hide warm ugly winter gear underneath.

I agree with above comments for unexpected animals. I would totally wear something crazy and giant like a bison.
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: UPDATE! Sharktopus - Half shark, half octopus on: January 12, 2011 09:42:17 AM
He looks great. The suckers are a nice detail. (congrats on the commission too! - i'm sure he'll love it.)
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Nativity Set - Just in time for the Holidays! on: January 10, 2011 06:29:04 PM
We have this one nativity set that comes out for Christmas, but we're always afraid that it will get knocked down and broken.
This is a beautiful set and would not have that same problem!
I've never seen a nativity set quite like this before! - I love that the wise men each have their own look.
Great job!

I agree, she is terribly beautiful and looks so fragile.
Fantastic.
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Going Green in 10mins on: January 10, 2011 06:16:09 PM
It's simple, but surprisingly elegant. I could see this as a daily dress-up for a tee and jeans kind of outfit.

creepy cool, though i would like to see how it is worn.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Mother & Daughter Matching Aprons on: January 10, 2011 06:12:51 PM
Bravo on making it plenty feminine without opting for bright pink.
The cut is adorable and the concept is just awesome.
I know when i was little my sister and i had matching aprons with apples on them.
They're too small now, but still very special to me.

I'm sure these will get good use!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Scissor Blouse on: January 10, 2011 06:09:36 PM
I quite like the rollover on the collar.
The color is nice and the scissors: how fun!.
Seems like an adorable back to school blouse!
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Voodoo Chic ~IMG HEAVY~ on: June 01, 2010 06:10:43 PM
Oh wow, that's really beautiful.
I love the rat's texture with all of the different colors you used. I definitely would not have guessed with all the tight uniform stitching that it was hand-stitched - quite impressive.
