53  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Mary Jane Slippers.... NEVER MIND*** I FIGURED IT OUT**** on: June 24, 2009 12:42:30 PM
So I am a fairly new "hooker" and I have been doing pretty well, but when I came across the mary jane slippers pattern, I was lost. I really want these slippers.

heres my problem.

the first step is to ch 2, then 6 hdc in first ch. then join.

Am I supposed to put all 6 hdc's into the same chain? Why is mine looking like a big knot? its not looking like a round or much of anything really.
Is it because I'm a lefty hooker?

Please tell me someone has a tip that will make my day.
I know I can get the rest, but this first step is killin' me.

So I figured it all out hehe
I was just being impatient... if you stick to it, eventually it will take its form... lol
YEAH!! I am half way done with one slipper.. woo hoo!

this has to be the best NSFW project I've seen in a while.
Man, that was a great laugh. I needed that.

Thanks for sharing!
